Hi all, Is it possible that i engage an ID for design, project management etc etc but i used my own carpenter, plumber, electrician instead of using those by the ID? I would still need the ID to liaise with my contractors and oversee the whole reno progress. Is this possible? In that case how is the ID gg to quote me?

Hi, I am a first timer in house renovations so I would like to engage an ID to provide advice, designs, project management svc etc. However, i have my own carpenter, plumber, electrician. So i m thinking of engaging an ID and yet use my own carpenter, plumber etc but i would still need the ID to oversee the whole progress and liaise with my carpenter etc. Is this possible? In that case, how is the ID gg to quote me? Anyone here who has the same situation as me?

I had a very very very bad experience with a renowned tour & coach agency. The agency name starts with Five. We booked coach tickets to msia for travel in the evening of 1 Apr and the careless agent booked morning coach instead! My dad couldnt read english so he trusted and believed the agent cos she said EVENING coach. As a result we missed the coach jus bcos of the agent's careless mistake. The branch mgr was not apologetic, made no compensation to us so we thought that by emailing the head office they would be able to help but the head office just asked the branch mgr and staff to call us back instead of handling the case! The branch staff said she made so many reservations in a day how can she remember whether my dad said morning or evening coach! And she insisted it's not her fault at all! We cant turn to any party of Five S**** because even the head office is washing their hands off this case! So pls beware and think twice before u patronise this agency. I dont want anyone to miss their holiday jus bcos of the agency's mistake!
