Froggy, we went in to JB to buy and it's 40 RM per downlight with bulbs. i agree that table lamp is better... for my guest rooms i only have 1 lamp with 3 blubs..

Mahjongace, my husband had the same worry as you had. At first my TV console is flushed in as well.. then we increase the inner part and had those side doors that can open up so that his speaker wires can go in and not hurt fingers. but in the end we still go for the flat surface console to reduce hassle and for future "enlargement" hahaha.. 15may!! your reno very fast finished le... i like your kitchen!!! same as my concept but my hubby dun buy my idea.... my reno still haven't finish. waiting for my tv console and kitchen cabinets up before my furnitures are in. Think we will be shifting in by end July or early Aug. See when go up your house see see.

Hi Froggy, We have brought 46" for living room and 42" for MBR. Think my glasses are getting thicker and thicker. You can try to see other heaters like ariston or Jovan too. We went to Mega to buy our tvs.. like their service. Your Hb ok le... only want 55" tv. does he have specs for the tv as well? for my husband, he even went to the extend of looking at the contrast colour - saying something like the "black is not black enough"!! there's difference in 50 Hz and 100 Hz. on the image quality... we saw a 42" LG LCD at 200 Hz at 1399 at Mega. Quite a good buy you can go see see. actually in the market there are quite a few 42" tv of less 1000. but i feel mus also see specs ba.

ya cheap. but we have to suplly our paint lo.. and can't really expect very good workmanship la... hahha but to us its still acceptable.

We also thought of painting the wall ourself but after painting the service yard, we gave up. Call someone else to paint for us for $350 for whole house. and they did it in just one day!! but we supply paint and tapes.

Hi fifteenmay, I love your passenge way light. How much does that cost? Yes electrical does have quite good deal. that time i brought my fans is before the price increase so quite a good deal. My lightings are also from Fancy too!! We have the same downlight too. it does save quite a lot if you know where to buy stuff in jb That time my hubby have to call the shops in jb for the kdk fan before going down to buy hehehe.

Hi froggy, the most impt thing when choosing a ID is you are comfortable with them, you need to look at their quotations carefully, look at their "show flat", see their workmanship and look around in forum for their reliablity. Contractor who catches you at the void decks may come out pretty good price for their quotation, tempting you to sign with them straight away. Do look around 1st see a few more contractors before deciding. You from FV1??
