hi all, 1 of the neighbours(X) I know faced this scenerio. X went our for lunch. X locked wooden door and lock. (Not the Metal Grille). 1 hr later, when X returned, X found the metal grille spoilt. It could be either someone tried to breakin (but failed) or the metal grille auto spoil. This is what happen to the metal grille. The center part, where there is this thing that holds the door closed, drop out and got stucked between the gate and the side hole. Hence, the gate cannot open. Hmm... advice is to lock the metal grille also. This will prevent that center part from "breaking apart" when ppl tried to use force to open the gate. Bright daylight... haiz... what is this world coming to...

I wonder if anyone of u faces this problem. I am staying on the low floors. When it rains, the drainage pipes outside my unit sounded like "gron gron gron" .. so LOUD!!

hi all, me and hubby went to isetan orchard to shop for induction pan. Initially, we are looking for tefal pans (we did buy some). While walking, we saw this Berndes 28cm pan. The original price is $269. However, the sales price is $58!! If u are looking for a 28cm pan, you might wanna consider this offer. Berndes is quite a good brand in the industry and we have used it to cook spagetti and pork chop yesterday. hahaa PERFECT heat!! we just love this pan. (I do not sell this pan and i am not a friend of the promoter. Just wanna share good things ) hi, i have some comments to make. (Not personal attack ar..) I cooked a lot and I feel tempered glass backing is still the best. 1) Stainless steel backing is very nice and can drill . But, it is really hard to maintain. Scratches easily. Oil stains easily. In order to maintain its shine, U will have to take a long long time to apply oil. 2) Wall tiles ( if u mean those small small tiles) is worst.. Also nice to see.. but after 1-2 times of FRYING... haha, i tell u, it wont be as nice to see those oil stain on them. Maintenance is even harder. 3) Tempered glass backing also got som drawbacks ar... firstly, cannot drill. Everything also have to stick. Also need maintenances. Everytime after cooking, have to use magic clean to spray n wipe with cloths.. Then use newspaper to wipe it dry. Overall, anything u installed also need maintenance. But unless urs is a showroom kitchen, tempered glass is still the best choice coz it is least maintenance. (This is my personal opinion.. And it might defer from others.. )

i was around when my contractor cut the tiles.. took him less than 20 sec to cut the tile. Hence $150 is totally unreasonable. If he order 70 tiles, allow him to do that since the price is not a lot. BUT count n ask him for whatever is LEFTOVER! make sure dun let him eat loh...

hi, 1) call either singtel or starhub 2) call either singtel or starhub. It depends on what internet connection u wants... If u want starhub, then get both starhub. If u wants singtel, then get ur phone line singtel too

shivan, try using F&N Coke to wash... pour 1 can of coke into ur toilet bowl.... wait for 1/2-1 hr... then use ur brush to scrub n flush

That is 3 burner... Then I have an induction hob.. That is a single unit. Temp can be from 500-2000. To make a full small pot of water boil(those pot used to cook soup), takes abt 2min.. very fast... hmmm... if u want, can come over my place see see... my explaination sux .. haha u see for urself better...

hehe ... suki is 3mth 2 days old now... going for her 3rd jab next mth... after that, then can bring her out... hehe she is a Japanese Spitz... I bought the black fence from HomFix at 7+.. installed it on the gate and i can safely open my door... hehe... so far, she still dun dare go near the door.. coz she very "dan xiao", everytime she wanna go near the door, i shout at her.. haha.. yeoman, are u getting movers? If u are, u can get boxes from them.. alternatively, u can go to those industrial area n PICK boxes... hheee be careful not to bump into "aunties".. or u can buy boxes from these "aunties".. welcome to the neighbourhood... we are a bunch of friendly ppl... ur blk 79E got 1 big sister(babymaro2003) very helpful...
