Take example network point, 1 point cost $80, estimate total 10 points will cost me $800. 1 box of lan cable (abt 300M) cost ard $100. I'm still considering whether to get the "hamburger" light or "trendy" rectangular light or take it away and left only downlight. For living room, without the 2 additional lights, can all those downlights bright up the whole living area (6m x 6m)? For room, I guess the foyer lights is not enuff the brighten the whole room. I wished I can go for a proper Inverter System 4 but resale unit have limited electric current. For my unit, I only can install a max 8.5A a/c system. If I go for Mit Inv Sys 4, 30K BTU compressor (3HP), its optimal cooling is at 11A but this unit can set to run at 8.5A and of cos BTU compensated lor. My dream is the 38K BTU compressor (4HP) but running current is 15A and cannot set to run at 8.5A. For the splendid portable a/c, it has an outdoor unit and capable to cool up to 600sqm with running current 5.5A for 15K btu but price near $3K. My frd has one, really very efficient and that's y I'm considering.

Noted, I will commit with wall to floor mount. I'm getting from my ID as his "looks" better grade to Ikea. My pole system roughly cost $1000 on Ikea but my ID is $1400 for 9ft. Besglas is one of them, good quality but more expensive.

Hi, After reading your post, I'm abit concern on Ceiling to Floor mount. Since u have experienced on pole system, is it better to get Wall to Floor mount type?

I'm thinking of doing concrete support + solid table top, sitting onto the concrete support. Built wooden cabinet to "conceal" the concrete support. So in any case of leakage, cabinet spoil? Just change cabinet, concrete side support no issue, solid top also no issue... =) My idea only, dunno works anot... =)

Concrete support + concrete surface is perfect for heavy usage. No worries on drop object onto surface, placing super hot pot/wok onto surface and etc. That was exactly the qns I posted to my ID. He reply saying no problem, confirm no water leakage. BUT on the other hand, my uncles who are in carpenter line for over 20yrs, strongly object wooden support. They just say 1 sentence, "wood scare of water". Maybe I will still remain solid surface but will request to build the concrete support w/o the concrete surface.
