oh thanks for the info.. how much more allowance should i buy for the surround speaker cables? for the front and central speakers, what sort of cables should i get then?

i guess my budget will be small after getting the better HT system for the living room.. i was looking at getting the budget philips one for the my bedroom and study room..

what sort of termination should we be getting if i'm taking either the denon or onkyo a/v receiver? banana, spade or ring?

hi, care to share how much you paid for the belden 1309 cables, is the quality good? i will need to get the cables first before doing the false ceiling..

by the way, what sort of speaker cables should we be looking at? i'm not too sure about that and i will need to lay the cables before my ceiling works start..

i will try to audition the 2 systems to get the feel.. i don't mind getting either one of them, but need to know which system is good at which areas..

i am also looking at getting 2 soundbars for my bedroom and study room.. seems like philips and yamaha are the 2 most popular brands around.. but since i'm spending on a HT system in the living room, might have limited budget for the soundbars..

so onkyo is better than denon? i am also looking at getting a new HT for my new house.. read some earlier posts that denon 2310 is good.. is the setup for denon really so complicated?
