hey vicenzo bro, how does the phase & crossover frequency work on the velodyne sub?

my ID took out part of the trunking when he tried to box up part of the area the fibre cable comes in through the main door.. so long the cable is not bent or twisted.. it should be fine..

read that 708 will only be announced in august, which means that it will only be available earliest towards the end of the year if nothing goes wrong.. can you wait? i can't as my house will be ready by next month, so will go with 707 then..

does onkyo 608 offer video upscaling to 1080p? i am still considering whether to take 707 or 608.. what are the main differences?

ok.. i finally decided on my HT system and got the following combo: Onkyo SR-707 (TBC - will change if there is a newer model coming up) 2 x Def Tech Pro 1000 Monitor Front Speakers 1 x Def Tech Pro 2000 Centre 2 x Def Tech Pro 800 Monitor Surround Speaker Velodyne CHT-8Q can't wait to get them setup in may when my new house is ready..

yeah.. that's why i posted again that i missed out your earlier post.. anyway i brought my wife to try out the subs.. i must say cht8q really gives you the "oomph".. by the way, has anyone tried pioneer amplifier before? i tried out both the onkyo & pioneer and find that the pioneer actually has clearer and crispier sound as compared to the onkyo one.. i am looking at pioneer VSX-1019AH-K and onkyo SR-707..

out of stock not because of CNY.. out of stock because no more in production.. pioneer is withdrawing from TV business.. i read from xtremeplace that there are less than 10 sets available in the whole of s'pore.. unless u don't mind a display set, if not you really gotta act fast..

Thanks for sharing the price that you got for your HT system.. i paid S$3,939 (cash) for the Kuro.. but put a deposit first (S$439) as my new house will only be ready in May.. if you are looking for the Kuro, you might want to act fast because stocks are clearing fast.. unless you don't mind display sets which some stores still carry..

hi frezhman, mind sharing how much you paid for your HT (excluding the oppo bdp800)? i got my kuro 50" last week at audio house though.. u might want to check it out or wait till the IT show next month but i'm not sure if there is still stock by then.. everywhere seems to be running out of stock..

i think courts offer trade-in of TVs for LED TVs.. you might want to check with them or check this weekend's newspapers..
