hey vicenzo bro, how does the phase & crossover frequency work on the velodyne sub?

my ID took out part of the trunking when he tried to box up part of the area the fibre cable comes in through the main door.. so long the cable is not bent or twisted.. it should be fine..

haha.. nope.. it's just Pro 2000 (centre speaker), Pro 1000 (front speakers) and Pro 800 (satellite).. sad to say..

read that 708 will only be announced in august, which means that it will only be available earliest towards the end of the year if nothing goes wrong.. can you wait? i can't as my house will be ready by next month, so will go with 707 then..

does onkyo 608 offer video upscaling to 1080p? i am still considering whether to take 707 or 608.. what are the main differences?

i was looking at either Philips HTS3388 or HSB2313/12 which has 2 HDMI inputs.. at least i can connect my media player/ps3 and set-top box to it..

ok.. i finally decided on my HT system and got the following combo: Onkyo SR-707 (TBC - will change if there is a newer model coming up) 2 x Def Tech Pro 1000 Monitor Front Speakers 1 x Def Tech Pro 2000 Centre 2 x Def Tech Pro 800 Monitor Surround Speaker Velodyne CHT-8Q can't wait to get them setup in may when my new house is ready..

yeah.. that's why i posted again that i missed out your earlier post.. anyway i brought my wife to try out the subs.. i must say cht8q really gives you the "oomph".. by the way, has anyone tried pioneer amplifier before? i tried out both the onkyo & pioneer and find that the pioneer actually has clearer and crispier sound as compared to the onkyo one.. i am looking at pioneer VSX-1019AH-K and onkyo SR-707..
