  1. Hi, allylaurente I bought this washer when I saw Courts advertised during one of the Saturdays.... and valid for 2 days (Sat and Sun) plus only for 1st 10 customers. The price was $399 plus $30 delivery fees so final cost is $429. Don't give up just pay more attention during the Sat's promo which will appear in the Straits Times newspapers.
  2. Hi, Steadfast. So far so good, not much noise. I am satisfied at the moment.

  4. Hi, Everyone. Has anyone been using Sharp ES-N90HS-A washing machine? Is it good? Not familiar with their washer but so far their microwave oven i buy so far so gd....
  5. Hi, Anyone has used before the Samsung bagless vacuum cleaner. Saw Best Denki selling for $69. Is it good? Never use Samsung househlod item before. Pls. advise.
  6. hee... hee paiseh hor, I was the one who started this thread back in 5 Mar 2010 and now I still haven't decided which brand of washing machine to buy. Heng ah I din get Hitachi after so many of you all say got the "kong kong" noise. Now it seems I am down to 2 brands that I am shortlisting - Toshiba AW-D980SS & Panasonic NA-FS90X. Wondering which one is better? Anyone used any of these 2 washing machines before? : )
  7. Hi, try calling this number - 96793289. I can't remember the repair guy name though but I find him to be reliable and honest as he advise us not to replace the circuit board of my in-law's Philips CT TV since the circuit board is expensive. Might as well get a new TV. : )
  8. Hi, Newie-X. Does MEGA has any other outlet besides the Katong Mall? Do u have their contact number as I was thinking of checking the pricing with them? Thanks!
  9. Hi, newie-x I was also recommended this model by Kong Tai and the salesperson keep on mentioning that Hitachi washing machine got this tangle free feature so that our clothes don't get entangled after the washing is completed wor. I am also looking at getting this model too. : )
  10. Hi, trantrulla. u can check the newspapers ads especially during fri and sat as they normally will have sales. For eg. Gain City or Audio House. Now I think Audio House may still be selling Toshiba 42" Full HD LCD tv selling at $799. It depends on your budget too but Korean brands TV are still quite ok. U can also consider Panasonic which is assembled in S'pore.
  11. Hi, therat. Paiseh wasn't able to help u. BTW, can let me know why u need to foot to foot distance for? I am also interested to get this model too. Thanks! What is the "S" behind the KJ stands for? any idea?
  12. Hi, therat. Not sure if this is what u are looking for. The dimensions for SF-90KJS is 590x1059x608 (WxHXD in mm).
  13. Hi, all. I am deciding between SUPOR or ASD frying pan. Need to replace urgently. Which one is better? Why? Thanks!
  14. Samsung is not that specialised in making fridges but their products are mostly made in Thailand..but their price may be cheaper as compared to other Japanese brand fridges. My fridge is a LG one and it was bought in 2001 and still working gd as I think they were still made in Korea at that time... It depends on your budget and also whether you are willing to try a different brand as the one u are currently using...
  15. Hi, angteko. Care to share how did u attach the photo into the forum? Paiseh I am still new to the forum.... Thanks ar!
  16. I see ... paiseh becos the subject quite misleading......
  17. I think the other end of the pipe which is inside the wall may be like what u say connected to the bath tap in the MBR bah.. but how to find out? So u are recommending to install instant heaters for both toilets instead of a storage one to share between the 2 toilets? Is it more energy efficient that way?
  18. Eh the copper pipe is not capped leh.... It's a like a "S" shape.. one end from the wall and the other end is exposed.... So meaning I can install a storage water heater in the common toilet and use this pipe to supply hot water to the shower mixer taps in my MBR toilet..?
  19. Nope mine is a first hand new flat... I saw this pipe there so dun know what it is for.. WEnt to ask the HDB property officer in charge of our area and he also dun know wor... Ya there is water flowing to my MBR toilet.... That's why I asked how to post a pic in this forum so that it is easier for me to explain lor...
  20. Hi, I got this copper pipe protruding out from the wall in my common toilet. I was wondering what is it for... Could it be for connecting the storage water heater to supply hot water to the master room's toilet... All the water pipes are concealed in my new house so I don't know what this pipe is for. How can i attach the photo which I took to show u all for better clarity? Thanks!
  21. Eh I thot that SF-80KJ model can select the RPM speed if I read the brochure correctly?or is it another model SF-80KJS? Or maybe those >8.5kg models then have this function? How come u say only know whether it will be spoilt in 3 years time? Thot they only give 1 year std warranty? Too bad I have already bought my full HD LCD TV at the Megamex exhibition last Dec if not I will be able to do the bargaining for more items to purchase. BTW, I read in yest's newxpapers that Audio House going to have 10 days of sales promotion whereby they will accept trade in for older items... hmmm must go and check it out think they starting this Sat...
