    El Nino i do select the models based on the efficiency from that list. from the 4 ticks system 3 inverters model, there are still a few brands to choose from anyone got experience with which brand that has a cheaper costs of parts to replace?

    El Nino i guess yours is an old flat? i have asked about panasonic, the GC salesman told me to forget about panasonic because the compressor wont fit the new hdb window for aircon ledge i am a bit split with the brands. i am considering hitachi system 3 invertor

    from forcesguy reply it seems must be from one of the *Best* shops. im quite wary of such "cheap" price. i dont mind paying more expensive to buy from reputable store El Nino which system, brand or any promotions that you found from GC or Hong Tar? im planning to get one soon

    If i remember correctly, this washing machine spins at 1400rpm which is one of the highest spin. does mega discount store accept credit card installments?

    Ve_ve sorry to hear that. i think its good to hear another feedback from a neutral person and from your profile, i know its a genuine type. i hope you got your problem resolved fast i got some reservation with Paraman "group" purchase. 1) first of all its quite too good to be true that the price is much much cheaper than other place 2) secondly im not sure why Paraman keeps on promoting the "group" purchase in here even though he has already got his air con installed. unless he got some tie up with the company in promoting their air cons

    i target this NA-14VA1WAS model as well. anyone got comments on its functional aspect? i saw at Best Denki selling $999 with $250 vouchers. And those paying with Best credit card at 24 months instalment will get 1 month waiver somemore

    are you talking on your experience? how can someone refuse to pay if payments to be collected progressively? 40% downpayment upon start of renovation is completely unfair

    @Samdolmat i understand your fustration. But this type of issue can be resolved easily without consumers suffering from irresponsible contractors. its not uncommon to make business on credit first. unlike you go to groceries where you pay a few dollars upfront and collect goods, this renovation involves tens thousands of dollars. as i said, consumers have a lot to lose and contractors have nothing to lose. they collected payments then consumers at risk?! its nothing to do with trust. its all about progessive payments upon jobs done. job satisfaction is another issue @kohnlee thanks im making appointment with your ID @olufsen i see thanks guys anyway take note im not trying to change the industry standard but im just voicing my opinions

    so thats the norm in the industry. customers have so much to risk and lose. then contractors have so much to gain. no wonder so many complains when the renovation works started. after paying lump sum, contractors go MIA and giving a lot of problems. why isnt the authority protect the consumers? i believe progressive payments would be more fairer i heard of a comany like Hamid and Sons giving "contra" payment mode. im not sure how true it is but they they do the work first then pay later. obviously a satisfied customer will eventually pay his/her cost after a job well done

    I am shocked to see the terms and conditions of some of the renovations firms which require you to pay huge downpayment even before the job is done. Is this the standard across the industry? I feel one should not pay huge lump sum even before the renovation job is done. As per CASE, Home Renovation Model Agreement - CASE Can anyone share which companies practice the above terms and conditions? If they dont, i will simply avoid these companies! Curious did anyone make an agreement like the recommended model by CASE?

    my target is the R-Z411EMSX ($789). this is one of the most efficient fridge. so the bigger size at everjoint is selling much cheaper than what Best Denki selling? how much extra if to pay by credit card instalment? your washing machine is top loaded? how many litres/kg? its not listed as a model under the 3 ticks WELS label

    try not to get the aircon from your ID. most likely be expensive you did not provide the full details of your aircon like insulation materials, etc. i guess its expensive go and check the prices from recommended electrical shops like Gain City IMM and Hong Tar
