We are on bank loan so actually we need not be present, lawyer will settle. but they settle all by 4.15pm wor. so we officially are the owner of the house by 4.15pm went visiting Edmund again to settle some other issues that we have not confirmed and also to get the lock from him to lock up the house. He has apply for the permit last night and approve liao!!!!! officially my reno starts today, Edmund is getting his plumber to come dismantle all pipings today. We went over the house to put up the lock and to take note the number of switches we need to buy..... can u smell the burning smell of my pocket? On a different note, we checked with him when we need the aircon ppl to come dismantle and install aircon and was shocked to hear end next week can come dismantle and run trunking. We have not even got the aircon purchased yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PANIC..... so am rushing around now looking for aircon.... asking for contact from bro england and also visiting natural cool this evening after work.

wcseow: GG, toilet roll holder is in btw cabinet n WC pinkitini, el, zelly: we will hv a clothes cum towel hanger in the shower area. soap, shampoo and etc we are considering 3M baskets or shelf to be installed in shower area. no shavers and hairdryer in toilet so not intending to hv power point in toilet. all the electrical stuff needed is to be in WIW. as mentioned, we dun intend to do too deep a depth and i might place the basin outer a little. we do wash our face in the basin so we will definitely make sure it works. Edmund also kan chiong cos he dun wan to make something we cannot use. he is asking for certain measurements like height of tallest bottle we put in the cabinet. basin and tap dimension, height of cabinet from floor etc. he is not giving the chance to make mistake. fencer: half wall fixed panel, and a swing glass door. basically i try to be nice all the time lah but when u "take inch want feet" then i buay pai sey liao, i sure lash out one.

collected my keys from seller yesterday as we arranged for the HDB officer to do some inspection on the cracks within the unit. Had a little hiccup before getting the keys. after negotiating with the seller, she said ok to pass key to her agent then whom will pass to my agent to me (ley chey) on SUNDAY. no time nothing. okay, nice me say to hubby, maybe they need to finish moving on friday before letting their agent know what time. but come saturday night (10 plus) no news yet...starting a little pissed and called my agent and he say no news from seller agent yet and I asked so how, when can i get then? agent say shd be afternoon. Fine. slept on it the whole nite and hubby is obviously pissed and so was I. They expects us to quietly sit at home wait until they shiok liao then pass the key to us, we dun need to do our own stuff ah??!! SO....i sent a sms to my agent saying if I dun receive the keys by 2pm I shall not accept the keys and the seller will have to come down to open the unit up for the tech officer. And if this situation arises, I shall ask my lawyer NOT to do completion until the HDB officer resolves the issue. THAT got some response I am nice but dun climb over me, I dun take that nonsense. my agent called half hour later asking me not to be angry and that he managed to get them to pass the keys to him by 1pm. By 1.30pm, i sms my agent again asking if keys collected and he told me he was at sellers' new place. I asked him to come pass me immediately and I want it to reach me latest 2.30pm. THAT also got some response from him. I got off the line with him at 1.45pm and I got the keys in my hands by 2.10pm. This shows one cannot be too nice at times.

hi yes, it's a storage cabinet. my contractor is also concern abt the depth so he wants to make sure measurements are ok so that we wun hv problem using it in future.

took a look yesterday after i collected the keys from my agent. had a little hiccup. anyway went to open the door with my in-laws and everyone commented how the seller could stay at such a dirty house. they din spring clean for me. but still look forward to the house officially under our name.

which glass u referring to? the shower screen? nope not all the way up. 3/4 up only. yeah, taking key today n applying permit so shd start work on 4 August. pics will follow...

MBR toilet 3Ds.... basin original one we bought is clear glass. basin tap and instant heater is also not the same as the one we bought cos we did not give him the pics. the rest is what we have choose. i my toilet!!!!!

hi simon & fencer. I've agreed previously to not comment on henry when simon said that I'm commenting based on one-sided. but i did continue keeping track of the situation of fencer. My point of view from looking at both parties comments as below. I do not intend and also do not want to side any party..... first, i can understand for simon and hcbing, henry did a good job for ur place, no mistake abt this and u have since become friends with him. this is good. it may also seems like since u are friends with henry, u tend to feel defensive for him when someone says something bad abt him. we are all house owners who are here to share all info abt our reno and how we felt abt it. what we feel gd and what is not. similarly, shd my contractor in future when he is doing my house, did a bad job, i will not hesitate to air it here even though he did a good job for others. Different ppl view the standard of quality differently. It's for the rest of the RT members to see for themselves and decide. my feelings abt the whole situation is that i feel comments are currently very much based on emotion as well from your side. no offence meant but whenever something bad abt henry comes out, you tend to defend him very strongly. not saying u are wrong but i hope u also do not c it one-sided. you mentioned u wanted to hear both sides but i feel u have been only trusting what henry says till now. I feel that if fencer only says with no pics to prove then he may be just simply accusing henry but if he is able to produce pics, then maybe u shd also step back and re-think wat henry says as well. what he tells u may not necessary be the whole truth as well. Let's not all put too much emotion into this. ultimately it's a issue between henry and fencer. by shooting everyone who has something to say abt henry is not doing henry good as well. fencer may be being picky and fussy and unreasonable....this i dunno....but ultimately what every house owner wants is a nice home to be proud of. it is definitely not nice living in a house of defects. I hv already feel that u are going very strong towards fencer and calling his review "story telling"...step back and give a more objective ear to both parties. my 2 cents. no offence to either party.
