I find that for OG, household items are typically value for money esp when it's promo time. dbkungfu: must warn others abt the kee siao girl mah. i din need the 4G switch so no issue for me. insane: no wooden block, can be bought easily and cheap too. infinite: no showroom, go their website to recce and talk to ur electrician on what are the number and type that you have to buy. Then consider which brand u wan (MK, Clipsal or Legrand) then go to the outlet to buy straight. basically CCM serves mainly contractors and electricians so they dun hv any showroom so u really need to know what you need before going. website: www.ccm.sg

I hv quite a number, the whole house is changing to the clipsal switches as this is the cheapest rocker switch and it looks elegant enough. yes, choo chiang has a few outlets. dbkungfu went to the woodlands one and had a bad experience with a kee siao sales girl. the rowell road one I went was quite alright. If u are going back GR Link, it's actually pretty near so can one stone kill 2 birds.

went Choo Chiang Rowell Rd yesterday to get my switches and Door Chime. got the Clipsal C-Vivace series rocker switches with a MK Door Chime. Total Damage is $135 plus.

haha merydith...by luck saw the promo when I was dropping by OG Orchard. not members only, but the catch is u gotta purchase $50 nett in a single receipt before u can get the knives at the special price. not sure if it's limited to OG Orchard and cannot rmb when promo ending. My bad that I forgot to take photo cos was too excited abt the buy, though the first thing that comes to my mind is to share this great bargain! My suggestion is to give a call to OG orchard to enquire before chionging down to avoid wasted trip.

Then lucky we were thinking go drop by OG and c if there are any new promo and my mum wants to see if the lego toys are having sale. no sales for lego but saw the promo for the knives. the 3 of us looked at each other and started grinning cos we walked Isetan and CKTangs before that and the price was like horrendous. best price was the $88 block from the one man brand. so we also mai tu liao. Joseeng, I'm not sure if it's limited to orchard OG only cos I went to check the website jus now but no mention. U all can call up OG orchard to enquire before rushing down in case if promo over then u wasted trip.

haha matashi, early HO is said by us not our contractor yet.... so all is not firm yet. did not go up my place for a couple of days so no updates but....an update of a purchase I've got while on a shopping spree! my collection of kitchen knives that I got for a very good bargain at OG!!!! a chopper, a santoku knife, a paring knife and a knife sharpener for a total of slightly more than $100!!!!
