ya, men always prefer watch. so far those that he give me which cost slightly more are always watches. recently during our weekend getaway he saw the skagen titanium watch and ask me wan or not. i was shocked... but nice leh...i holding off cos reno spend alot... to me, kate spade, LV, coach, Gucci, Chanel all branded. god, anything that cost above $100 is branded to me.

have titanax held any of the knives yet? if he goes "aaahhhh" over pics over the net then I can imagine how he will "aaahhhh" when he holds the real thing. infact I was aahhhh-ing when I held the SHUN knives and my sis say i siao. but she in the end got to agree, the plasticky one jus dun feel rite after holding the solid ones.

for me disposable plastic spoon fork also no good. really breaks easily esp when u are tearing meat...

my tap all quite normal, bought from GR Link all less than $100 each except for the fountain tap. my common also real small but i dun wan shower curtain so in the end my contractor suggested doing a fixed single panel without door which I feel is good enough. MBR a little regret doing swing door cos eat into my bathing space. but well... we are vain people~!

i saw those too and was thinking of getting that until nguandi's poison on german knives. KAI ones are the lower range of SHUN. looks good too but same thing, after u hold the shun knives, the KAI knives jus dun feel rite with the plasticky feeling. IMHO. u will hv a "ahhhh" feeling, that how i felt when i held SHUN knives. better check with nguandi, he's the knives expert in RT now.

the one man knife block set no chopper and no space for chopper.

the twin series that I bought has also the sex.y beechwood, that was the one that finally bought me over. cos was initially looking at the one man henckel $88 set and also they hv some box set that has either 2 pcs or 3 pcs set which is very cheap too. but i jus dun like the plasticky feel of the handle. the twin series one caught me right there with the sleek handle. tried my hand at the Shun jap knives too and loved it. but way to over my budget. so can only until they hv a good promo like Henckel

for mine also fridge beside oven though my oven not built in. guess that's pretty much the layout for kitchen nowadays. my contractor did a slightly bigger compartment so heat can dissipate out. also when I ask for a pull down door or a blum aventos door he rejected my idea saying that will cause more heat buildup. so i go with his suggestion lor.

yup, u can jus get them separately from daiso and get the utensils container to hold them. i like it this way cos can choose wat i want. u get set u hv to get what they give u. muji is the more premium one lah, of course quality would be better for the price paid. in fact i get most of my bento-ing things at Daiso, so much so hubby bans me from Daiso. nguandi, u in sengkang so go rivervale mall for daiso lah! so nearby leh if u r looking at cutie ones, i understand chinatown point has a shop that sells cute stuff and has lots of bento-ing stuff plus the cute factor. have not dare to venture there yet cos of the intense poison I can feel from there. I think if I do go there, I'm going to make my hubby ban me from bento-ing!!!! Pinktini, the WMF wok looks good and price good too!!!!!!!! too bad my mum already bought a wok for me....... *sob*
