my lights are a total of $1050. ur orange backsplash may look brighter for actual. check with ur contractor and ask to c the real sample. then u will hv a better idea.

the only time my hubby allowed me to on aircon continously every nite was during my pregnancy cos i was feeling so hot and couldn't sleep n in the end he could not sleep too cos i toss n turn until he buay tahan. then he gave in n burrow deep deep into the blanket.

hehehe...thanks yuene mylica & lilith! ya, am pretty pleased to c the walls smooth smooth de. esp aft hacking the cornice away i was very worried the walls will remain "moon-rocked" cos edmund says the binding glue used was very strong for our case. but am so pleased Ah Kim (the painter) was able to acheive this! 3 cheers! nope, no change window, it's pretty ok condition. but we will be peeling off the obiang sun-x. decided to do ourselves cos edmund says not worth getting his guy to do, gonna charge me $200+, some more edmund cost to cost wor. so we are gonna find one weekend to work on it....

i used to be buay tahan hot weather too.... kana trained by him lor. so now even when the weather is up to 35 degress like last yr June/July, we only up the power level of the fan, still no aircon.... haiz....

wow, coincidence!! my son is attending sat afternoon lessons. in fact am thinking of bringing him out and doing one-to-one once he finish the first 2 yrs of JMC. maybe by that time can look for ur wifey...

there are some breeze. but there are humid days as well. we still do not on the aircon.

erm....then i must be ancient??? our aircon is basically white elephants. we r installing for the jus in case & also cos hubby will be shifting his students to our place for lessons so need aircon to minimize sound transmission. basically we can survive on standing fan on power level 1 and ocilliating. we also do not blow direct. my hubby even more ultimate, when i on the fan, he cover himself with blanket!!

Edmund also advise not to waste the $$, can do the next time we wan to re-reno Mylica, sorry for no pics the past week cos we always go up when it's dark so with a iphone, there are limitations.

went up my place today. saw that painter is working on smoothening my walls. so i was mistaken, he only start work today. but when i went back in the evening I can see quite a bit of progress but too dark to take pics. sorry guys! One more happy thing, window grilles are up and they are so nice n new! Lights from A Lighting have arrived and will be installed this sat. Tmr will continue painting.
