  1. aiya, since u going cck to view the unit, might as well pop by Ang's unit too LOL
  2. yeah, i saw that too. $49, IIRC.. but hubby not impressed with that tap. maybe just settle with a normal swivel one will do.
  3. nice pics! love ur sandstone colour for the walls...think i'm shortlisting it for my MBR, very cosy feeling.
  4. wow, all these sounds serious....am surprised to hear this abt Henry as I had always heard good reviews from the Henner club. Probably u give him a blasting email and call him again. this time stress to him that do not put down the phone when u speak.
  5. going to. Jasmine recommend a crizto single bowl model but I did not order yet cos i was waiting for Edmund to come back on whether are we able to do our L-shape kitchen. will be going back to GR link to get my MBR toilet glass basin, bath 2 way taps, bathroom accessories and the kitchen sink + tap. thinking of getting the industrial tap but with a additional tap one. Jasmine mentioned it's abt $190 plus.dunno should i continue to splurge since it's a since bowl sink...it's a dream lah but sensibility is telling me maybe i should just get a normal kitchen tap...headache... am going for my second appt for the unit i sold on 10/5 so I will be going to do tile selection and if time allows, i may pop by GR to finalise these orders.
  6. latest update!!!! edmund just send me the 3D he did for my kitchen. Shall load them up here when I'm back home if I'm not too tired....
  7. yes, Asia Excel hv black ones, check with GR and others too. they should hv.
  8. if u no requirement then be like me get mini compo....hahaha $300 plus only. cos to me the effect no big diff. so long got sound out, clear can liao.
  9. best is every item get the ID to itemized out and with details like brand or items included all listed out. this is to prevent future dispute.
  10. hi merydith ya, i agree with the rest...i hv a policy not to look for friends or ppl i know to do major works like reno. like the chinese saying "money hurts feelings"...even now, my hubby's friend who is also going to do his house reno, we are advising him think twice in getting someone he knows. cos whenever things go wrong, u cannot really blast the person cos u still hv to give face.... so even if u show them the other ID's quote and they willing to lower to match also got to worry on the reno process and hv to pray hard nothing goes wrong (which is unlikely lor cos for a reno journey sure go some hiccups)...very siong since u going to do it by yourself only leh.... Jia you! the whole RT is behind u!!!!!!!
  11. now my turn to ask questions....anyone has lobangs to cheap cheap dismantle the exisiting privacy film? Edmund says his contact will be charging approx $200 plus to dismantle cos of the work involved. He ask me to source myself if hv cheaper ones...
  12. hi bluewater, disturb u again. when jason did the frosted film for you, did he have to remove any old film? how much he charge you for that ah? could you PM me if you can? Many thanks!
  13. ya, me too. cassanova good enough for me. the kitchen sink which u bought...show pic leh...i still thinkng what to get cos i dun intend to get too big... reuben didi, dun worry receipt still has to be kept...at least until reno ends. so no prob. anyway Jasmine n Benny very friendly and helpful ppl. they will give u discount if they can. even not, it's lower than what we saw at balestier. my hubby and I mouth almost drop to the ground and jasmine was grinning cos seems like it's a common reaction for those who did research at balestier before going her place! nv nv go with ur ID or contractor. the shop would hv to markup for ur ID's commission if u go with them or say they recommend you. can say I recommend u lah cos I promised Jasmine I will advertise for her, no commission though so she give me small small discount.
  14. thought u met up with CLC sometime back?
  15. Ang, answer ur question first. yes it's 2 ticks and YES IT"S $200 $200 for cassanova brand, $220 for crizto brand. wanna ask me abt washbasin? they hv ranges from $89 - 98 she did a small discount for me in the total amt lah but can understand since they already selling lower priced than outside, esp ***.. how much she gave u for the WC? ooh...jus saw that ur's is crizto brand so should be $20 more exp than mine. mine's cassanova
  16. first time i hear this wor... somemore the friend's dad...complain to friend lah
  17. bro clementi, loved ur kitchen...ur laminates for ur kitchen cabinet looks very nice. is it from EDL? I'm looking at the laminates now and your laminates were the idea I was looking for... but now hv a hard time finding which is "THE ONE"....
  18. the few photos on the purchases from GR Link that I owe u guys... the instant heater for both toilets the bidget spray for both toilets the MBR toilet WC the "famous" $500 basin set for the common toilet (Note: exact tap is within the set) common toilet WC (am considering whether to change to the same design as MBR toilet)
  19. hey patsy no worries! thanks for inviting me up, ur place looks great!
  20. welcome back how was the meeting with summit? hv u any ID whom u are leaning towards?
  21. yes, if u going for rainshower u nd storage. some shops might say it can be done with instant but, IMHO, instant dun hv enough pressure that the rainshower required, even more if u stay in a high floor unit. for storage, joven is fine. ariston is old brand used to be very very good but not sure if quality remains. but honestly, nowadays, electrical appliances are not the quality they used to be already....now depends on luck.....
  22. there is a water tank for u to put water for the steam function. suppose to be a healthier way of cooking...
  23. hood and hob also from mega discount at kallang leisurepark.
  24. yes, i bought my waterfall tap from GR. the short one is $138 the tower one is $190
