this is serious, I would strongly recommend you to call up the GC office and complain and make sure they come and rectify this. This rusty nails will surely cut into the insulation one fine day and when it leak, who is going to be responsible. even my husband who saw ur pics also say ridiculous installation. the trunking is to protect the insulation, so no way it will void the warranty, some more trunking is by them not "pirated". LOL...

Loving it but maintenance will be tough. I think he has a few others new ones which are halogen and also normal energy saving ones.

ya lilith, for ur case probably u shd seriously consider blum cos even the more costly drawer is still $100 plus a little. It will be lesser than songcho's or any other s/s drawers. jus get the ones that can sustain bigger weight. something like 50 or 60kgs? and if u still wan s/s drawer then u might as well get songcho. the tracks are smoother and the quality of the s/s is being tested and confirmed by so many ppl. if the meetup with the contractor is the first meetup, it is not surprising that he does not hv any colour of cabinet or wall paint colour as he does not fully understand your requirements yet. Agree with the rest that it is difficult to judge whether cheap or expensive cos of material used. Also the cheapest may not necessary be good. Most importantly, do u hv the chemistry with him, are u willing to place ur trust on him?

agree that it's better to call pest company. cos ur place alot of wooden furniture leh.

thanks infinite. met with the electrician to discuss the points in the evening. tiler finish tiling MBR, almost finishing the skirting for my son's rm and halfway finish the skirting for my study rm. Living rm left 20% skirting to be done. So tmr tiler will finish those and start tiling the toilets! that should take another week as understood from him. the partition for the WIW will be coming next week (not sure when), then next friday aircon piping, next saturday carpenter measurement. so give n take 2 week or so for carpentry to produce and come install, then glass backsplash measurement and install another week ba. meanwhile during all these period will hv painting and final installation on aircon blowers. hopefully by end july can finish. *praying hard* seems like tight schedule huh?
