ngunadi, tat's true abt the full HD thingy...but these days technology changes so fast tat prices of such stuff has gone down so much....so hb say, buy first since it's so cheap...later want to change or upgrade then buy new set bah....i tik for him, he's much more cost conscious than to care abt his game effects...though he love to play games...

sounds gd leh!! :) wish u all the best to find an ID/contractor that u want.... a point to note though, Mr Yeak may not be into designs....he's more of a contractor n not so much of designer kind....but his woodworks r gd we have gone thru the tedious process of asking for quotes, checking out the contractors....gave up after shortlisting last 3 contractors....finally decided on one after so long....Zzzzzzzzzzzz

jasonloke13, i tik it's understandable to be afraid of having similar experience like ur frd did....honestly, u may or may not....it really depends on individual.... to ease ur fears, u may wish to speak to the neighbours who live in the same floor as the intended unit that u wish to buy and find out y the flat is now empty etc....another way, u can go to SLA and get the history of ownership for the intended flat also.... there is really no foolproof way of anything for this situation....to be honest, even if u buy a newly built flat, it can happen too...trust ur instincts... if u feel tat u r being oversuperstitutious or wary, then try for HDB direct flat....like i said above, not foolproof either

His schedule pretty tight but his prices quite reasonable...u might want to think about when u can start ur reno and ask him for his available schedule. Can also give Impress21 a shot as well...their prices quite competitive too...

El Nino, ask u ar...did u go to any other sink/mixer shops like Poh Joo, Hoe Kee etc instead of Sim Siang Choon?? seems tat SSC's prices abit steeper rite?

oic...then it's diff case for urs n mine...cos ours we expect tat all aircons will be turned on each nite so hence, the need for system 3+1...for ur case, indeed, only system 4 would be more feasible in addition, the space n size of the room would be a consideration too for tat matter

KSJL - yup, from the looks of it, we'll meet up with Edmund over the wkend to finalise details and everything ngunadi - indeed, system 4 is much cheaper....however, we realise that if we get system 4, BTU for the system 4 would not be sufficient for the system 1 (for living room). Henceforth, we got system 3 (total BTU of 18000) and system 1 (BTU of 18000/24000 - i tik) Reason being, if u get system 4 (total BTU of 36000), each system would only have BTU of 9000....assuming if u turn on all the aircons for the 3 bedrooms + living room, the rooms will take super long to turn cold on top of tat, u will waste more energy to run the aircon....

not stopper for main gate lah....it's door stopper for main door...hehehe
