  1. =updates= 27-Jul-10 Proceed to electrical works today. It doesn't seem easy for the electrician to do his work properly bcos the gain city ppl were here today as well to do the air con trunking. Electrician left the house around 4pm and continue the rest of work the next day. At abt 430, I have to go over to sign the "DO" for the work done on aircon. Thank goodness we stay near to our new home! So far so good for work done.
  2. Thanks ger... Good price! Heehee... I already got his contact from Ang kor's thread.
  3. Nice curtain!! I like that sheer look. You did day & night curtain (1set) for living and these rest is roller blinds? For the blind, is it those 'block out' (no lights can pass thru')? Btw, there is a curtain booth at Sun Plaza ground floor and the price seems reasonable. Roller blind for 5"x4" costs $98 (non block out type). I ask for block out type which is slightly exp cos maintenance is easier than the norm ones for 6" width x 4" height window and it costs abt $180. Shall see how, most likely will get all time favourite, Mr Chew.
  4. Hi wcseow, Congrats... btw, the roller blinds are nice. Could you pm me the contact/total price you did for all blinds/curtain. TQ.
  5. Wah... Congratz ah, wish granted!

  8. Dont feel good abt the piping for sink so my brilliant colleague suggested on the relocation... To this! Spoke to the plumber and he is ok with the changes. Kekeke... actually he was my friend lah... So concidence! Brought out this idea to my ID and am waiting for his retification.. Don't want to end up creating more problems for fabricating the kitchen cabinets.. Pls pardon my bad sketch...
  9. Continue... on piping Kitchen Kitchen yard - Piping for sink which is suppose to be fixed and eventually hidden by cabinets at the opposite side of the half ht wall. Tiler did not take into consideration the piping will be mounted behind this wall for sink. The space remaining was too narrowed for the s/s pipe to pass thru' the opposite side of this half ht wall and fat pipe therefore resulted the appearance of sink pipe Kitchen wall pipe - look at what has been done to my wall? Was it suppose to be like that, i find the workmanship kinda rough....
  10. =updates= 19th Jul 2010 - Piping work MBR bathroom MBR bathroom closeup-cannot stand the black cement, so ugly... Common bathroom Piping for bidet spray was wrongly drilled, ended up the cracked tile. Anyone know if this can be changed?? am still waiting for ID's reply.. I don't think i can live with this!

  12. The DB is so cheap ah? Ya, i get to know Choon Chiang from www.samgalz.com as well...LOL The cost had already included sockets & switches so i doubt my ID would deduct the cost of it even if i get the stuff myself. haiz... i am still waiting for him to get back to me if we are entitle to 'some' discount or not leh. Crossing my finger
  13. LOL!! Thanks for the invitation...*shyshy* Now, I can only use my small small oven to bake. Looking at the space I have, a build in oven is confirm a nono... Am comptempleting whether to get those conventional baking oven or the all in one microwave oven. *headache*
  14. Thanks for info. Did u buy your switches & socket? I doubt they use switches with led lights.. Remembered he said before just designer switch but no led lights. Total cost almost $3k with 8 double sockets, 7 single sockets, 15 switch control, new DB etc.... I also find it very exp.
  15. Tot we need to get ppl to certify that all are pass otherwise if got any "tong gua tau hu" like fire (choychoy) then insurance will not cover? Duno if I m right or not? Switch control are those switches for lights. Anyway, new DB cost $400...
  16. LOL... So qiao ah! quite a number of us here bought stuff from them. I dun think my space allowed to fit in a width of 600mm wo... Sianz! Maybe I can only get those conventional type oven.
  17. looking at the electrical quote again, the $600 is actually meant for switch control as well. But, still 'gui' right?
  18. Thanks gal. Btw, necessary to do "testing" if I don't rewire?
  19. Ya, the net trap is important, esp for drop hair. Without the netting it will be quite noisy too. Stainless steel dun have netting ah?
  20. Sobsob.... The labour cost us $600!! I tot the charges in their list already included labour? So **** exp! Outsource ah, can we? But paisay leh cos we already spoke to electrician although nothing has been committed.
  21. Just got my variation order on the electrical work (rewiring),it costs $2875!!! Fainted...
  22. I tot u bought a carpet for your boy only? Got another purchase?
  23. Poloso him lah! Kekeke... Really good buy and it's **** soft. Can't wait to use it immediately. At first i tot better dun put rug since our girl has sensitive skin but looking at the material it seems that dust trapping could be minimum. The assistant said it's quite easy to maintain just vacuum frequently and carpet shampoo once a while will do. I think there is abit of communication breakdown b/w the plumber and his worker bah, his "foreign worker" was there during discussion too.
  24. LOL... I also bought the stellar series, it's $110 for 1.6m x 1.2m one. Good grab!!
