The other difference is that Pioneer uses Anchor Bay while Onkyo use Faroudja DCDi. I am not too knowledgable on this but it seem that ABT may be a better chip.... btw..what is the price-range of 920?...

The A'Diva Ti 5.1 is $3999 and the Micro 5.1 is $1999. There should be a 10% discount if pay by cash/cheque. I bought the in-ceiling mount and "upgrade" the TR1(part of Micro 5.1) to a TR3............ U deciding to buy AG too?

Maybe your mum made reference to those paper Chinese calendars , u know the one that u tear off day by day.... My mum refer to that also, and basically there is not a good day to move during the 6th month (for this year only). Same same, I was shocked. But then I implored her to go temple and ask, maybe more accurate.....and thank heavens, she indeed was given a good day in the 6th month to move. In fact, it was supposed to have a very good day......................lol....so she is very happy....... The temple person did advise my mum that only use that calendar for reference but better to get confirmation from temple..........

Hi U are pretty accurate............ About 55K for all wet works, carpentry, laminate flooring, s..... About 8K for ceiling lights, bathroom accessories, sofa and dining table...... (edited because of some typo...sorry)

Hi..Thanks for the comments.... Lol..I like to have more counter top area. Tried to convince my mum not to have dedicated fridge and freezer so that we can have more counter top area on the other side of the kitchen. But no avail....lol......so bought a single sink instead to have more space.... The flip down is mainly for the power sockets and keep the AV cables. Most of the time, the power sockets are installed in the cabinet. Nowadays, most devices do not have power on/off switch. And also cables behind are messy and dust will be collected there over time. Thus we move it up for easier cleaning. In addition, the AV receivers are huge and required more depth. These will help too.....

Hi Joleena and pinktini The first TV will be in front of bed. So if we both watch the same show, then we will be on the bed.... The second TV which is on the right side, my wife will have a comfy sofa. For her only. Actually on the left side I intend to get another sofa for me. I like to sit beside the window and do my stuff, and watch TV also. Reuben2 Ya, actually she does she always complain the English spoken by those actors is too "chim" for her.....so she depend on sub-titles. If no sub-titles, chances I will her subtitler... So sometimes when I am playing game and she is watching TV, it will be 1. She pause, I pause. 2. She rewind then I turn my head slightly to my right and watch... 3. Then I try to explain......... 4. Sometimes I got killed and got to wait, then I can also watch what she's watching until some1 come save me....lo Lol.....no HO one per se...already kawan kawan many years. My move in/start sleeping date is 23rd July, auspicious day. but unit should be Move-In ready by next week Open house --- can of course....maybe will be close to sam mei mei also..... and Mr Angteko went missing liao...lol

Ya.....some ppl not comfy with that arrangement. I was the same when we first engage them a couple of years ago. But it works out well, in the sense once the sum is agreed, it stay the same as the changes are so far been accommodated. To have a guage of the relevance of the pricing, we asked for similar things though u can not always have exact apples to compare. Thus the negotiation can be based on that... Since we have 2 good experience with them, this time round we just tell them our budget and then base on that nego for more things to do....

ya...I watch AFC too...mostly with my wife...........prefer the taiwanese show cause I find got more variations.... the power of mother-love.......back in our old place, my wife would wake up early in the morning to make the kids' favourites.....used to be maki, then cookies and now muffins........... now in rental place, too small....eagerly waiting to move to new place so that I can have the muffins too!!!!....my favorite is peanut butter muffin!!...yummy.............

When our kids are younger, we make maki for them....I think good food for them....but as they grow older I guess to join in the crowd, they now prefer to buy from canteen......so maki now becoming a treat at home....
