  1. What type of lock you have? If it is dead-bolt type, you should be able to DIY..

  7. Very true... I just changed mine... initially respray... but it doesn't last... Now I use formica , took me a bit of time as I have 22 doors I use aluminium angle to frame them... quite nice

  15. Recently bought a wrong cutter, quite useless, blunt with less than 20 ft of cutting. Think it is for plastic Someone in this forum suggested Giken A-650 or equal. Wonder where can I get it TIA

My bathroom wall tiles have fine cracks As an experiment, one section of the wall I have already used the vinyl sheet glued on them, it works quite well with water... it has been like that for about a year without problem, no peeling off, easy to wash... Now I m thinking of using formica. Anyone tried that? I am not worrying about how to hold them in place. I am not sure if formica is good for water...
  18. It could be that you are now hitting the real wall, which is harder than false wall.... if I were you, I will continue to drill further and see what happen... hopefully not power cables...

  20. I did this on my bath room using the white vinyl. The vinyl is about 4' (cant remember exact dimension) and it is quite challenging initially. Now quite good at it... I didnt apply the soap solution, may be I should try next time.. Thanks for the tips. BTW the vinyl is not cheap. I paid about $8 for 4' (?) x 1M
  21. I am thinking of making simple wardrobe myself. If I can get this kind of aluminium profile, I should be able to make one... any idea where to get them? I often visit a shop just selling aluminium at UBI ave 2. Unfortunately they dont have this...

  24. What the guy said sound logic.. But I do believe it is possible to do something safe.... may be add a piece of steel sheet (the bigger the better) screwed on to the plywood. Then install standard TV bracket onto the metal sheet... or something like that....
