As for Yi Si, I understand from my ex father who is FS master that no matter what an Ang Bao is necessary, some kind of "patang' thingy, even $2 is ok. Something along those lines. Hi ,thank you for your advice. I understand what you mean. Infact my friends are going to give me the report this sat and I wont start renovation till we are happy with the layout. I agree that personal learning of FS is just for leisure, and not to be taken seriously. You need to get some one who is experienced. As for my friends, all they are asking is just an Hongbao. Told me just an "YI SI". It's for the love and passion for the continous learning of FS that they gather to practise, do practical studies and do FS audit regularly, not for commercial benefits. JFYI, "they" is a big group that consists of 15 people!!! So for 15 people who had learned from various FS master to come together to brainstorm and gather their learning and knowledge to analyse and confirm my reading.......I feel very safe. Also most of them are from well-to-do background, so I believe they must have applied what they had learned and done very well for themselves?

Hi Bk 888, I meant to reply this to your message above yesterday but my prepaid card not working well. Anyway, here it is my reply. Hahahhaaha BK888, you are so funny! Understand what you mean. I have nothing against him and what I shared here is true. He definitely have some credits since so many people recommended him and if it had not been the charges I would have tried him,though there were some concern on e awkward placement of some stuff that some forummmers mentioned here. Anyway, if he really has an elephant brain then be it. Everyone has a choice right? Since life is already not easy, I choose to avoid people that is not nice, to make life easier. Even if they have superb svs there is no point if they create any ill feelings right?...which already would creates bad qi.... Really appreciate your advise though. Am sure your words will help alot like me with a small budget for FS I do not have any major problems in life at the moment. Infact, I do a little self study FS and did FS for myself and my husband for the past 2 n half years when we lived in a rented apt. I managed to get some friends who studied FS to assit me today. hahahaha! After seeing my house and the floor plan layout, they confirmed that there were no major "NOs NOs" and asked me to proceed with renovations first. They said, even after renovations there will still be remedies.... so they asked me not to be afraid. Importantly, we need to feel comfortable with our own house first, FS is all about feeling good. I was so glad and happy to hear that. Now with your suggestions....I am over the moon and totally relieved! hahahaha! A Happy Sunswimmer again!

No No, Master Chang (fengshuiyinying) quoted 1385 and Master Zhang quoted 888.

Hi Kcwee, No, mine is 1498sq ft. I gave Master Chang, fengshuiyinyang, my floor area too. Anyway, it is what it is.... Just called Master Zhang. He asked me whether it is for HDB or private. Told him private and 3 rooms 1498sq ft and he quoted $888. For additonal room eg. 4 rooms it is extra $100 which is resonable.

Yes someone pls email him too to clarify what I've said is true. Otherwise I can forward my email from him to you too to justify my statement

Hi Mashi Mashi and IVY Thank you both so much for your help. Received. Thanks England, I must agree that it is worth it to pay more for good quality audit and commercial charges are higher from $1600 and above. However I see his charge as very commercial too, not far off from 1600. Also I cant justify a 4hours or weekend only 2hrs job for $1,385(a normal admin staff's one months salary?) .... and there is no reaudit after renovations. Also dont we have to do the FS audit once every year! In my own opinion, I do not or will not paid for this amount unless I am totally sure that it will work for me. Maybe you would say I cant compare it this way which is true but it is still too costly..... He should probably charge lower for 1st time, and if he is really good, am sure he will have alot of return customers who dont mind paying higher to engage him the year after year I just visited a Master in a temple today whom i just found out, sees Fengshui also. Unfortunately his timing is packed now. Need to wait till Apr or May before he is able to help me. His discipline warned me not to ask him about the charges. He said he is here to help people who are in need and dont like to mention about money. Disciple said Master told him that some people are already at the rock bottom of their life, thats why they need help,,. if not they won't come to u for help. So how much is the person's XIN YI. Also normally, these people already dont have much money and are in trouble, therefore by asking for a certain amount is not helping them. As a Master You want to try to help and see people rise and become successful. I respect him. And yes Honey gal, 1358 not 1388, is the charges for private apt below 1500sq ft but I am not sure for 500 sq ft. Check with him,maybe he is able to give u some discount? Good luck!

My Floor plan is ready. I need a FSM now. Anyone there knows another FSM as good as Mr.Chang who charges resonably? Please help. Thanks. Or can anyone please help to email me the list? Really appreciate. I am sure there are still some really good ones which charges reasonable price.

Thanks Htng for the verification. No, there is no increase for HDB, it is still $485. What I mentioned $1385 is for Private apt and condos, according to Mr. Chang. He said, "This has been standard for all previous condo/ terrace owners." Anyone to verify? Also he said, "Pls confirm you will want to go ahead before I try to help". Some thoughts: I didnt know why there is such a big diff in price for same area For your infor, ours is an old walk up apartment. Why does people always think anyone who lives in a Private property is richer? Dont you know that alot of all these private properties esp landed were bought by our grandparents long time ago and was passed down? During those times, house prices were peanuts? $50K and above for landed? Also dont you know some HDB now can cost much more than old private estate?
