Just to share, my reno work is starting after CNY. so far, she is really nice and respond is fast enough. price is reasonable and i hope the end result will be as reasonable. she accompany to the tile shop, sanitary ware shop, and even went shopping with me to ensure i got the right goods even before signing of contract. so far so good and i keep my fingers crossed. meanwhile did anyone engage her?

After alot of sourcing on Id and contractor, ive finally decided to settle down on Lina from home sweet home. i hope my choice will be a wise one as this is my 1st time renovating a house. dont wish to have any bad experience. One down point is that she dont provide any drawings for me. so i have to visualize myself. so far im very comfortable talking to her. hope everything will proceed smoothly. any pleasant or unpleasant experience i will update here. hope to help more forumers make a wise decision on their renovation works! meanwhile, just want to check did anyone engage her services before?

the contractor that i got did told me about the CNY thing where all the malaysian worker will be going back to their hometown, therefore she cannot guarantee to finish my renovation works by CNY if i were to start late. i am very suprise by the honesty she have though as all my ID "guarantee" to finish by CNY. the price is higher now? but i need to move asap so i am left with no choice.

i am not sure whether i can help cos im in the midst of comparing quotes and want to know what is the diff between contractor and ID. i found one contractor who i feel very comfortable with but haven yet engage their service. my sis house was done very nicely by them though. will pm you guys the contact

hi im very new here and i need some help regarding some renovation works issue. im planning to have a renovation for my house and i hope to get some advice. what is the difference between a interior designer and a contractor? i have a few Interior designers and one contractor in mind. but i am not sure will there be difference in their workmanship? i prefer to get the contractor as the service is better but im not sure what is the diff between both.
