It is not easy for both Mr J and I to monitor the reno progress.. both of us are working and we can only go down to see during the night.. the only consolation is our new nest is a stone throw away from where i am currently staying so travelling is minimum.. difficult to spot check as well.. Reno progress.. the windows are up... very fast.. i very scare my white powder coated window frame will be scratch/dirty..why they put up the window soo fast???? white powder coated window frame with blue tinted window..casement type for the whole house.. paisey cannot see the blue tinted window from the photo..due to my horrible photo taking skill.. Both toilets window also up.. given clear glass window..my current house is using black tinted glass window.. i wonder if black tinted glass will look better..hmmm Kitchen cabinet base also done...together with my washing machine base.. not doing fridge base..my fridge will be placed next to my cabinet near to my kitchen entrance.. thinking should i get a left side opening fridge..hmmm..

I dont know how many of you guys here have a small window on one of your MBRl.. I have one tiny window on one of my MBR wall.. not inside my reno contract so i ask Darren to quote me how much to change that tiny window to white powder coated with blue tinted window.. and he quote me 200 bucks!!!!! 200 bucks for a tiny window..hmmm what is the normal rate for the tiny window?? i know white powder coated with blue tinted window is expensive lah..but i didnt expect it to be 200 ley.. though at most will be 120~150

my indian neighbour also pray daily.. but she do it fast.. everyday 6pm ring the bell.. open her door and burn incense by 630pm she will complete everything.. the smoke from the incense disappear very fast also.. got used to the smell liao..

I got one question. Below is one of my shortlisted aircon. Daikin compressor MA56EV1 (20,267BTU/hr) system 3 which uses FT25DVM (9000BTU/hr). Does that means if I only on 2 FCU i will receive 9000BTU/hr from both FCU but if i on 3 FCU then i will only receive 6000++ BTU/hr as it is being limited by my compressor? Is my theory correct?

took some pictures today... my mum keep saying " everything soo white..next time don't know how you going to clean" hahaha white white then nice mah.. i like my whole house to be bright.. They already laid the kitchen floor tiles.. so I dont have a chance to take a peep at my common toilet wall tiles.. My off-white kitchen floor tiles with my stainless steel pinky rubbish chute.. just a protective layer.. The workers have yet to build the cabinet base.. MBR toilet wall tiles.. very white too lay the tiles horizontally to make the area look bigger The red mosaic tiles not up yet.. think the effect will look like smallboy's toilet.. Realise the workers have yet to put any grout therefore the black lines are very obvious..

only european models can have left side open fridge doors.. i am thinking of buying F&P as well but then the salesman told me F&P fridge dont have defrost function..meaing every few months need to switch off the fridge for it to defrost the freezer compartment.. how true is that????

Day 4 : fixing up the old common toilet entrance with hollow blocks I dont understand the purpose of "washing" the tiles..anyone can enlighten me? All my tiles are ready..tilers have already start work by water proofing the 2 toilets..

realise that putting the 4 pcs of movable fridge base "leg" looks okie..that is why i am not doing the fridge base..no intention to put the fridge directly on the kitchen floor.

Day 3 8pm : Meet Darren , Richard which is the project manager and the main tiler Ah huat.. We went through all the tiles..realise deliveryman send in the wrong kitchen tiles..same design wrong colour.. Richard assure me that he will get it changed. Confirm which tiles for where.. also confirm my washing machine location coz they need to do washing machine base.. i not doing fridge base liao.. just make do with the 4 pcs of movable fridge base stand This process took 1 hrs 30 mins.. Darren request us to look for air con and think about where do we want to place our power points coz after tiling.. the electrician will come in next.. he gave us an air con guy contact ...so either we use his air con guy or we can go out and source for our own.. now the golden question is.. which air conditioner is good??? any recommandations??? And the kitchen entrance which Mr J think is very huge does not look very huge now after we did some measurement.. we will just leave the entrance.. no sliding door no swing door.. I told Mr J if really smoky/oily then next time install sliding door.. now no budget liao..

hahaha yes to hougang or yes to serangoon???? my flat completed lift upgrading and is currently undergoing upgrading on the surrounding.. But i think yours is in hougang.. based on your distance to mrt station..
