  1. Just knock your neightbours' doors and apologize for the noise during the renovation period.. since you all going to be neighbours, why dont be friendly abit and make everyone life easier next time?
  2. not sure i am right or wrong. Seller do not need valuation report to sell his unit. It is the buyer than need the valuation report to get his loan approve. So even if the seller did the valuation report, you still need to buy the report over from him unless he gave it to you out of goodwill. So if you want to apply for loan, regardless of HDB or bank loan, you need to do valuation report. And i dont think u need to show it to the seller coz it got nothing to do with him. Except he need to open his house and let ppl come in to take photos. I am sure ur agent know about this..unless u kena a newbie that dont know anything.
  3. update: I received reply from HDB..it is a useless reply..bascially no information.. anyway i check with the neighbours and realise that the one on top of the unit has been trying to hack of the storeroom as well..but was turn down by HDB on 2 occassion!!!!! sob... it means i am not able to hack off the store room.. maybe i will just let go of this unit..since i am not able to hack off the store room..

  5. nope I am not the owner. Just a potential buyer of this unit I intend to purchase this unit so purchase the floor plan to take a look. Most prob i will email to branch office and ask.

  9. I dont know abt 3 room flats but i am looking for a 4 room in serangoon. I realise the COV is coming down.. 10K-15K for units that are of good location... single digit COV for o.k units..Hougang will be cheaper than serangoon. Look for serangoon north 3 rooms if u find serangoon central 3 rooms too expensive.. serangoon north is cheaper

The reason why i need to to see the quotation now is because the owner as for COV so i need to see how much i need to set aside for renovation before i can decide on the COV figure.   14. I am interested in a 23 years old flat too.. like atlantis..the flat is in orginal state.. I intend to revamp the whole house..not in the hurry to move in coz getting married only end of next year.. So thinking if it is cheaper to look for contractors AFTER cny next yr.. any suggestions???

  20. Saw a highest floor units in a mature estate. I like the unit but my parents told me that highest floor units are not good. Direct sun throughout the day which make the unit warm and hot. I know this is not true for new estate as i have friends staying in SK top floor, but what about mature estate? Is it as what my parents mention?? Anyone stay in top floor in mature estate can help me with this?? The unit i am interested in is more than 20 years old.
  21. qi only flow in through main door and not through window?? why i ask is because i saw a unit which is N-S facing..but the direction of the door i dont like..that is why i am asking this question.

  23. I don't know if anyone still read this thread. Being a person with no feng shui knowledge, won't the eight mansion method be the easier to get a unit with at least not too bad feng shui? I don't expect this simple method to get me a unit with gd feng shui but at least i am able to get one with ok feng shui and then get a fsm to come and enhance the feng shui of the unit. I can't possible bring a fsm with me for every house viewing I see..too expensive and not practicial

So now if i want to take direction, i will take with respect to the new door right and not the old one. Am i correct? 2. Heard that it is best the centre of the house is in the living room. What happen if the centre of the house is inside one of the bedroom? Is it okie? 3. I read somewhere regarding missing sector and pertruding sector of a house. Is this a major flaw?Because the access area is now part of the house, there is one pertruding area of the floor plan.
