hi hcbing, think our locations are very close to each other. also understood that this floor plan is pretty common in punggol. wow you have the luxury of time to plan and design. well, i've already started furniture and electrical shopping. much to my delight, most are within my budget my contractor/id is titan creative, recommended by my bro. reno cost is estimated to be $45k. thanks and merry x'mas to you too

Mickey M, bought a King Koil king size bed mattress (K Court Care II Extra Firm) with a bedframe for $1,498. FOC: 2 pillows and mattress protector. Delivery charge waived. To be delivered mid Feb. Wanted to get Philips 42" Full HD LCD TV (Model: 7409) for $1,299 and Toshiba 9kg washer for $619. On 2nd thoughts, will probably get these electrical stuff closer to CNY. amrasenelya, yea planning to do quite a dramatic overhaul to the place. as i will be staying there by myself, i don't really need so many rooms The ID took more measurements yesterday and I am excited that 3d visuals of the proposed design is coming out later part next week. Meanwhile I have to consider to overlay composite strips in my living/dining area vs hack and lay homogenous tiles. Will upload some pre reno pics later

i was recommended composite strips for bedrooms. anyone has any idea what's that? i was told it is not laminate but some kind of vinyl. anyone using it? comments about durability, ease of maintainence and resistance?
