hi peeps ! any difference between direct drive motor n standard motor ??? abt washers someone say on web, direct drive motor slower than standard motor. eg: LG direct drive motor max spinning speed only up to 1400rpm! whereas MIELE standard motor cn go up to 1800rpm!! aiyo, cromodora, read carefully la! tats only a statement of possibility for all front loaders. all front loaders got mould problem if nt taken care of mah. take note tt the person or lawyer who wrote tt webpage nvr touch on how the user shld perform empty tub wash at high temp once a mth, leave machine door open aft use, as means of preventing such issues of mould n foul smell fr becoming major !!! lawyers r clever enough to state the fears in ppl minds, but careful to avoid saying certain words! they wanna earn ur money also ley. of crse they try find sthg for themselves to fight la. mould problems is true for all front loaders but it depend on how well u maintain ur washer. dont u tink its strange why of all brands of front loaders, tt bloke must target his arrows at MIELE ??? tink abt it.

yeah the warranty terms n conditions in fine prints r impt, tt shall depend on how LG sg or the store fr which any extended warranty is bought, gonna handle watever defects tt arise with rgds to the motor if spoil within stated 10yr warranty. if got disputes or unhappiness, sg customers definitely go to CASE to file complaints. ha!!! the store will probly tell u: if anything wrong for 1st 2yrs, go to LG. if anything wrong fr 3rd yr onwards, go to the store, not LG anymore. again, wats written on the extended warranty terms n conditions of the store, its another issue! Interesting, same for other brands of washers tt we buy the extended warranty.
