You mean the black white mosiac? It is $8 per sq ft. The contractor is coming to my place to re-do the entire epxoy flooring tomo. This time round, I'm going for light grey flooring instead of white. White is definitely nicer but will turn yelllowish, so I'm hoping that light grey will turn out nice. Keeping my fingers crossed.

The carpentry for the kitchen is bad. The edges are not nicely done. They didn't use PVC edging which I did specifically request for it. But then I can't be bothered to get them to change already as I just can't wait to shift in. Quite happy with the island, which is fully wrapped with solid surface. Initially I thought I could move the island anywhere I want, but after it was done, I realised that it is so heavy and there is no way I can shift it alone. Will need at least two strong men to lift it. The next thing I need to shop for is 2 no. of nice bar stool, but can't find one that allows me to adjust and comes with a back rest. Anyone knows where I can get one?

My rain shower finally up after so long. Bidet spray and toilet holder are up too. Shower screen and glass door are up as well, but forgot to take pics. Will do so tomo.

My wardrobe system is up. Not happy with the quality, as there are so many scratches. Felt like it is a recycled piece. So called up the company and lodged a complaint. They said they will be coming back to change the wardrobe system. hope they will honour their words. Really dont understand the installers. Who on earth will accept such quality right? If the poles have so many scratches, why install in the first place? Really very pissed.

Thanks. Yes, the frosted glass door will be coming on Monday. My wardrobe will be in tomorrow as well. Yes it will be warm, but I get my electrician to install a dimmer so I can control the brightness of the lights.

All the bulbs are finally put up at the yard.

My painter re-paint the whole wall in the living room as wrong colour was used. For fengshui reason, I asked for a bright red color. Was worried that it would be very chee na, but surprisingly it turned out very nice. Red goes well with white and black colours. My door vendor came this morning to install all the doors. Didn't really like the door handle for the bedroom but can't be bothered to go look for a nicer one. Specially bought a pair of stainless steel handles for the main door. Will take a few more pics of my main door after I install my digital lockset.

Thanks. I'm aware of this, and checked on a few companies for a more scratch resistant epoxy flooring. The one that I chose is slightly more resistant to scratch, but then I still have to be careful not to drag anything on the floor. Epoxy produced by some companies are of lousy grade, I can even scratch it with my fingers. Some epoxy is quite scratch resistant, but that doesn't mean there will be no scratches. I've thought of using high gloss white tiles, but I don't like to have the grout lines. That's why I go for epoxy to achieve the seamless look for the flooring.

My white barcelona chairs have arrived, but cannot be placed in the living room as I need to re-do the whole entire flooring.

Very upset over the epoxy flooring. Lots of holes on the flooring, which they need to re-do. The flooring guy told me it could due to the room temperature being too hot and that is why the epoxy is not able to level itself properly. I told him that his sales person should have told me that before installing the epoxy and that I'm not happy with all the wrong info that he gave me. Initially the sales person told me that I could apply a UV sealer to protect the whiteness of the flooring and that the UV sealer is so thin that you will not see much of a difference. But then after I confirmed to proceed with the white epoxy, he then told me that his boss advised me not to apply the UV sealer as that finishes will not be smooth and glossy as you will see brush lines. And when I asked if I could change the white epoxy to another colour, he said he was not able to do so as he has to indent again which will take another 3 weeks. He even told me not too worry as the white will not turn yellowish that fast as it is indoor. You know what? The site manager I met today told me that it will be very soon that I will see patches of yellow on the flooring as it is white. I was so pissed and told him that again his sales colleague has given me the wrong info. Luckily the site manager was friendly and said he would help me to settle it and will provide me with a sample board with UV sealer before he proceed to re-do the entire epoxy flooring. He said he would not charge me for the UV sealer. Becos of this delay, I don't think there is any way I can move in by first week of June and spend my birthday in my new hse.

The epoxy flooring workers have completed the water proofing membrane. Tomo they are going to lay the epoxy. So excited. Hope I can post some pics on Wed or Thurs.

Finally my Toto wall-hung WC is up. But the flushing system still not installed yet. A close-up pic of the tap which I guess it goes well with the standing sink. My shower head looks cool right? Never buy things on impulse. See the mirror is too small for my bathroom. Need to customise one. Anyone know where I can customise mirror with backlighting?

Engaged FloorOption for the laminated flooring for the two bedrooms. Only one guy was there to carry out the work and he finished within a few hours. Quite efficient. Happy with the result. Another group of workers, who will be working on the epoxy flooring at the living room and yard, have delivered all the chemical to my place. They will be pouring a layer of moisture absorbing membrane today for it to dry for the next two days before pouring the epoxy on top. Understand from them that the moisture level of my newly screeded flooring is high and if I were to go ahead with epoxy, there will be blistering/bubbling on the flooring after a while. As such they suggested to lay another layer of membrane to prevent the moisture for spoiling the epoxy flooring. I hope my epoxy flooring will turn out to be as nice as the pic below.

The strips comes with the controller. I bought a 5m strips for a 4m cove lighting. I think should work, but then make sure there is space between the curtain and the LED light. the last thing u want is to keep fixing the LED light each time when you open and close your curtains.
