Hi guys, I heard that if I were to take HDB Loan , I will need to have a fire insurance from HDB appointed insurance company call, Etiqa. But if I were to take Bank Loan, do i still need to have a fire insurance? Seem Etiqa's insurance preimum is pretty low, can pple who take bank loan take up their fire insurance? anyone familiar with fire insurance?

i think the CPF portion should be still 5% of 310k which is 15.5k right? and also "After 5k deposit = 27k outstanding" , should be 28k right? Just to high light, as I'm not sure if i am correct about it.

Thanks for the info, SpringSummer. if Example: Purchase price = $310k valuation + $2k COV 90% bank loan. and deposit buyer pay $5k. what will happen to the extra $3k?

Hi Guys, I am intending to sell my 4 Rm HDB and then buy another small unit like a 3 Rm HDB. As I be requesting for my buyer to let me stay over for a few months, I have to quickly get a flat. I intending to get only 100k loan from bank, and the rest pay using my CPF proceed and cash proceed. My problem is do I have to wait for CPF proceed to comes into my OA before I attend the 1st appointment of my 3 Rm unit? and how long does CPF proceed takes to come in? some pple tell me have to wait for 3 weeks for CPF proceeds to goes into my OA. Need help.

For Item (4) Should it be 10% of Valuation price minus the $5k deposit? I just wondering? anyone can help clear my doubt?

How about the 10% deposit? which if getting HDB loan will can be 10% cpf. and bank loan is 5% cash and 5% cpf. that deduction is make on first or second appointment?

you mention your completion for the purchase of the resale unit is 2 dec? do you mean completion or First Appointment on 2 dec? I thought the cpf deduction was suppose to be on the First Appointment?
