i came up with the idea to have it that way was to add light to the kitchen as it was a bit dark... yup! i will think it up...it may work....

yup its nice to live there...rather quiet... wish that its easy to reno...its a bit old so quite a bit of things to do up Cant leave the kitchen link open up to main door la...not very nice... the rubbish chute has been shifted to the side so theres a clear space of at least 650-700mm...maybe during reno may want the contractor to move it slightly. i am extending the glass quite a bit till it touches the corner of the foyer but i wont turn it around into the foyer...dont think i like people looking at me cooking as they take off their shoes...hahaha
