Reno Day +39 (02-05-2010) Lighting fixtures - partial installation These are early pics of the lighting fixture already put up. Nothing dramatic as most of the lights can't be turned on yet and are still wrapped. The Innermost Lighthouse Light will be lowered later. If you looked closely, you can see the plastic wrapper. View from the study room... Closer...

Reno Day +35 (28-04-2010) Visible aircon trunking Praises for our contractor . Wonderful job he did routing the trunking. I see only three visible trunking in the whole unit. One in the MBR. Its pretty short. Not too obvious. Passageway ceiling. Partially concealed in someway I guess. ...and finally one next to a window frame. Hmm, pretty ingenious. This part will be skirted, plastered and painted. Hopefully it'll be will integrate seamlessly into the wall.

Hi Vovo, I believe my contractor is doing this for us as a favour and at cost. But I will definitely let him know that someone else had expressed similar interest in the project. Perhaps this could be his newest venture; Table making . Anyway, I think our excitement is rather premature as we have yet to see the final product. Keeping our fingers crossed. I'll keep you updated nevertheless. Btw, if you're interested in his services; Growth Builder Pte Ltd 237 Alexandra Road, The Alexcier #07-02 Singapore 159929 +65 64796566 Ask for Choo Man Wai

Right on the money! Used or reclaimed wood would definitely be ideal. Will try our best to obtain some but if we have to go the new wood route, we'll go easy on the polishing and staining. Just some waxing for protection. For the "used" look, I guess we'll add to that with time and wear

Greetings and welcome to RT. I see lots of natural lighting in your place. Very nice. Do keep us updated!

Ah yes, you've got a very nice table set. Saw it on your t-Blog. And for $1k, its a pretty good deal! Your place turned out very nicely!
