  1. Hi ngunadi; you may consider Ariston , Bosch ( one of the best so far from customer feedback ) , Electrolux( their new range design , look sleek ) and Tenkei ( new brand , but i actually saw the model not bad , i must say and the price at $499 so i think not bad for a Europe oven ) Just look for those built in oven with turbo fan and tangential ventilation . As most oven now comes with top and bottom heat for baking and grill element for grilling . KM

With steam cooking, food absorbs only the moisture it requires – which means no over cooking. Food cooked in a steam oven can also be a lot healthier as you don't need to add any oils or fats to keep food, such as chicken, from drying out in the cooking process. So what can a steam oven actually cook? The answer is pretty much everything but the kitchen sink. When people think of steam cooking, most conjure images of bland veggies and fish. The reality is that you can use your steam oven to cook anything from pasta, rice, potatoes, meats and fish to puddings, cakes and breads or even soup. Keep in mind that a steam oven can't brown or crisp as it cooks with moisture rather than with hot elements. However, there are a few steam oven models available that actually combine steam cooking and conventional cooking methods in one oven. This means you can steam cook a chicken in 20 minutes and then change the mode to conventional fan-forced cooking to brown the skin, so it looks as good as it tastes. We call these combination ovens, as opposed to steam only As for microwave cooking, the radio waves penetrate the food and excite water and fat molecules pretty much evenly throughout the food. No heat has to migrate toward the interior by conduction. There is heat everywhere all at once because the molecules are all excited together. There are limits, of course. Radio waves penetrate unevenly in thick pieces of food (they don't make it all the way to the middle), and there are also "hot spots" caused by wave interference, but you get the idea. The whole heating process is different because you are "exciting atoms" rather than "conducting heat Happy baking Kitchen Matters
  9. Hi Josvin , sorry for the late reply Good to hear about your purchase of oven . Did you purchase it at their recent WH sales ? The oven FB51.2 IX comes with 5 cooking programs * top and bottom heat * top and bottom heat with fan * top heat * Grill * Grill with Fan . Once the timer alarm , you have to close the oven as if not it will keep on baking . ++ As for heating up of food , it can be done but you need to do it manuel using top and bottom with fan but the Temp. settings set at 60-80 degree but beware of over heating the food . So keep an eye on the food. ++ For baking this oven no problem . ( remember to enrol for the 2 baking lesson that Mayer provide ) ++ As for cleaning , once the oven install ( remember to inform your designer the oven wire is 0.9 meter long and the power point is using 13 AMP plug ) remember to take out all the racks and trays , clean with a dry cloth than turn the program to top and bottom heat with Fan , Temp. set at 220 degree and set timer at 30mins. As it need to burns the moisture away and there will be a bad smell , something like burning tyres . ^^^ Actually u need to do this once a month to prevent it from tripping the house . ++ For cleaning outside the panel use normal cloth with some soap but than use dry cloths to overlap it - Must always keep the oven dry as Spore weather is hot so to prevent it to rust "keep Dry" ++ As for inner part of the oven you may cater to the same but dont clean the heating element on top which is expose as if not clean dry it may trip the oven Happy baking Kitchen Matters
  10. Hi El Nino . cool , do share any gd recipt happy baking Kitchen matters
  11. Hi El Nino. Self cleaning with panels ( when gril , the oil will stick to the panels and after some time when the panel are full of oil it will drips down , that when you need to change the panels but some model or brands is to heat up at certain high Temp. it will melt or dissolve the oil ) Is best after a Gril or Bake , to clean away the smell , you may try to on to Fan Mode to blow the smell away. KM

  19. Hi chuen_noe; sorry for the late reply most oven comes with min 3 cooking programs ( bt is without turbo fan ) to 5 programs , 6 programs , 9 programs , etc. Is best to find with tangetial ventialation ( it will blow out hot air once the oven reaches certain temp. ) and if do grill often get with self clean panel ( once the panel is full of oil , you have to change the panels . ) Current brand in the market Ariston , Indesit , Brandt , Electrolux , Bosch etc. Bosch design look sleek and comes with 45cm oven - save space. , Electrolux price wise range from $600++ till $$$ . Their structure looks soild . As for Ariston and Indesit is more on price and design but got too many bad feedback on their after sales service quite sad as their design looks nice. As for Brandit their design and price is good too . I feel that you may consider 6-7 cooking programs and with self clean panels . Price range below $1000 should not be a proble Let me look around for you When do you move in or is it for replacement ? Try not to put near a fridge and if install below , try to avoid glass hob as it really not advisable . happy shopping KM
  20. Hi Coldflamez; I got the contact from a friend who also deal with appliances and etc. As for the tempered glass that crack . So far if it crack the agent will change the glass , dont need to change the whole stove / hob . As for life time warranty , i heard theres term and condition attach to it . Tempered glass are easily to clean and maintain but just have to take note of a few stuff KM
  21. Hi , which model do you purchase ? And you mean that Everjoint mostly promotes Elba washer to their client ? thanks a lot for the infor KM
  22. Hi El Nino ; Can try to design a glass panel below your upper cabinet It may protect the laminted panels Your cabinet backsplash mat consider glass too than as its more easiler to clean Some ppl put stainless steel sheet but after some time , it tend to have scratches or water marks As for the smell i totally agree on your advise and feedback KM
  23. Hi Coldflamez ; Electrolux is quite good brand , the model that you looking at is EGG7422S ? Design looks sleek and i just assist my client to purchase too. But the price my client get $250.00 !!! Only heard some stuff regards customer service reply slow but is quite normal compares to others brands or agents And is supplier by itself Electrolux KM
  24. Hi Graceakaclouds ; Yes is true tat after your cooking , is best not to turn off the hood as not only it will clear the smell and cool down the arae as while cooking the area between the hood and hob is warm +++ Always leave a gap of 650mm to 850mm from the hob to the hood. No pro you may install a chimney hood without cabinet beside or on top at all ( Retro design ) as all Chimney hood comes with 2 funnels and the top part can be adjustable. The Funnel will go all the way up to the ceilin Before purchase just tk note of the chimney hood height . KM
