I think you should consider the cost to mend back the conceal piping. When you are selling your house next time. The new buyer could consider this as defect and demand you to replace the conceal piping.

Think u misunderstand me la. What I mean is to lay the carpet permanently instead of buying a big pcs of rugs and put on the cement screed. I check with one of the wallpaper supplier they quoted me around $800++ for the size of MBR using the normal quality carpet.

Thanks for your suggestions but I m not good in DIY. So probably will go for tiling if the cost of timber is too high. Yes, I intend to lay the carpet on top of cement screed. Think should be no problem right.. So how is the laminate floor does it blend well with your living room tiles?

I was quoted above$1k just for that small little balcony. I still seraching for cheaper offer otherwise will go for tiling instead. Yes,my whole house will be in laminate except Mbr I am considering carpet since there is not much difference in price.

Btw I also installing the same range of supreme flooring but not yet confirm which colour to choose. I like the finishing because of the groove which make it looks like natural timber flooring.

Care to explain why plasma is better for HD content..i m deciding between a 50" Plasma (HD ready) or 47" LCD (Full HD)...in your opinion which one is better for watching bluray or HD movie....regards :)
