since we're on topic of LG fridge, i'm targeting bottom freezer, shortlisted this model LG GR-B359PLQ but i noticed it's only 264 litres & e bottom freezer is bigger than e actual non freezer portion. from a practical point of view, how often would these 2 compartments be used on a wkly basis? I only have a small bar fridge right now so I can't really make comparsion, so appreciate any help on this freezer issue. any other similar models worth considering too?

hmmm, i asked e same question today & was told about 8 kg is enough. is tat assuming u only wash bedsheets/curtains by themselves? er how often should comforters be washed? my place also got west sun but so far haven't really seen e full effect due to e weather we been having. if we buy 7.5kg means not enough to wash bedsheets/curtains then? but those 8 kg above looks big & e door a big heavy....

i walked past this shop "prestige lights & fan specialist" at jln besar yesterday evening & enquired about 707 water heater. e saleslady told me 707 water heater is made in msia & e parts are not as gd as before, with a lifespan of about 3 to 4 yrs. she introduced me to a japan brand called viva 300 for ard same price ($160) & showed me the inner component saying it's made of copper & won't spoil so fast like those made of plastic, it's also an anti scald model. when wifey asked about those older models of 707, she said they don't have any more of those, spare parts hard to get. can anyone comment on 707 water heaters if there's any truth in this?? if true, what's the nxt best brand to use?

I got mine for $390 or $380 total hob/hood $770 not every model will come w safety valve, well it boils down to what u want. my expectation & final choice din turn out to be e same but I'm ok w it.

not yet, about to start doing kitchen only. well, it's best to follow fujioh's instructions. u can find it at www.fujioh.com.sg recommended height is 800mm but i've checked with fujioh, u can set it lower but not higher. mine's at 750mm. if u're worried bout height issue, get e taller person to stand there & measure e distance & prob estimate from there. yr contractor could advise u as well. i got rinnai hob, was considering inner flame w safety valve but chose a normal one in e end. fujioh hob isn't that bad but according to what i read here, best combo seems to be rinnai hob & fujioh hood. of course, it's only my own opinion there're others who prefer other brands.

i was like u trying to decide between FX900 or 800MK2, the only differences are 1. price. 800MK2 is about twice the price of FX900 2. weight & size. 800MK2 is much heavier & bigger 28.5kg vs 16kg, if u want something strealined FX900 don't take up so much space 3. absorption rate: 88% (800MK2) vs 83% (FX900) Fujioh

u're right, HDB can only get recycling models, I just bough FX900 also.
