Hi teardrop, I don't work for IntraD and have no personal relationship with them. Reason why I posted all positive comments, is because I am really satisfied and grateful to the work they have done. You might have your doubt, but I am just writing or rather telling pple what I have encountered. I went through the whole renovation process alone, as my husband is always engaged with work. Dave really help and guide me alot in the process of the renovation. This is my first house and I was anxious to get it done not knowing there are so many details to look into. With his help and guidance, we manage to get the house ready within a month. I am residing at Cantonment Rd, Pinnacle Duxton and have a few friends staying in the same block using him as the ID as well. My reply is not to clear doubt if I worked for them. I do not wish to tarnish their reputation by my comments.

Hi teardrop1804, I engaged Intra Design back in Year 2009. I don't agree that their qualty of work and service has deteriorate. Till date, whoever that visit my place still find my place well renovated with good carpentry. Not sure whom your ID is, but since he / she is from the same company, I don't think the quality of work will differ. Cheers.

Hi there, I did up my place like a year and a half back. Dave was my ID then (found thru Renotalk thou), till date I still strongly recommend him. He is very responsible and will does QC himself every few days while renovation is ongoing. If you are looking for a gd ID, he is no doubt to be one. Btw, I have never tried contacting him through office, guess it is better if you could contact him through his mobile.

Hi Jol27, Orientation takes place before the start of the renovation. Purpose is to let us, the owner, have a better understanding of how and where the work will be done. As for the payment, initial 50% will be paid on the commencement of the renovation and remaining 50% will be paid upon the confirmation of the carpentry material.

Hi Jeff, Cool down. Is there some kind of mis-understanding? Dave might look Beng...but he's not. Guess that's the way he talks due to his profession. And just to clarify, he don't use strong arm tactic to push for payments. True that he requires 50-50 payment, but it is not by force. Which I believe many of his clients agree upon signing of contract. If it is by force, I don't think he could sustain in this industry for so many years. I have not worked with Angeline, so I can't give any comments about her work. By reading the comments in this thread, I believe her work is definitely up to standard. Or else, there wouldn't be positive feedback here. And being a lady ID or any lady profession, I don't think it is wrong to have a companion when meeting client. You might be pissed with what is happening, but that comment from you is unfair. And I think you should be glad that Dave is the one she brought along, not any other guy. There's 2 professional ID with you, they could have given you many ideas on your reno. People here only have the chance to work with either one. Nevertheless, if you are uncomfortable with them, then don't engage them. Ultimately, you are the client. Gd luck to your reno.

Hi Shalost, I do not know in "terms" what material I have chosen for my flat. I could only say for the price that I have paid comparing to my friends, whom hv done their reno done by others, it is really worth it. I guess you will need to see to make comparison. Hi, I didn't use Angeline as the ID for my reno, mine was Dave. Just to reply on the pt that puppet mentioned. 1. As a whole, not to mention Angeline or Dave..Basically quote from Intradesign is always lump sum. Think that is their practice from ages ago. 2. Initially I do find the quote from Dave pricy. But from the feedback from friends & relatives whom visited my place, mine wasn't that high afterall. And most impt, their carpentry and material are really good.

Hi, I had my Reno done by Intradesign few mths back. You may wanna look for Dave @ 90090088. He has done a very gd job with my unit. Good workmanship & fast response for any rectification.

But I guess it shouldn't be bad, as per reviews and comments in this thread. You mentioned you went a few firms, didn't they draft a simple floorplan for you? As in where the locations of the cabinets, wardrobe.. bla bla bla. Regards.

When mine was done up, there were also similar defects as you mentioned - "sharp edges". I called Dave and that next day his guys came up to rectify all the defects. So no worries abt the rectification, they are quite pro on that. Cheers.
