hi, how's your situation now? all settled? the HDB rulilings seem to be more prone to the sellers than the buyers, there's other thread in the forums whereby a guy was cheated close to 20k because the seller is a bankrupt! i think it's always good to have everything in Black and White and signed!

yah, i cant agree more. from the email, it really does seem like HDB is playing tai chi so they dont bear the responsibility, note the words "your own private solicitor's advice". I think there should be more laws or guidelines to protect the rights of buyers!

I too engaged TAIMS for my house at sergangoon road and so far, no major hiccups and i am very pleased with the end results. the qoutation i received is also within the reasonabe side and very prompt response from Jael whenever i hv some questions. oh, hazelk, you dont hv to pop by the showroom, when i first met up with jael, we actually met up at a coffee house near my place (since my husband and i are always so busy) to have a chat about our ideas of the house and such. most IDs will travel to location afterall, we are paying for their services.

hi, my sis recently went for her 1st appointment in oct, the duration from 1st appointment to 2nd range between 4-6weeks. But this duration must be agreed between sellers and buyers. So, if the sellers are still residing in the house and need more time to pack and move, likely that they would request for 6weeks, sometimes even longer
