btw, during the 10 days, main door would be hacked also and temporary door would be up. Adding on, 10 days later, all the lights + fan would be fixed up. Kicthen cabinates and master bedroom cupboards would start installing. So say by end of the 3rd week of April, should be finished and just left intense inspection for anything to rectify loh...

21 days into Big Reno, wiring for my rooms, kictchen, toilets, false ceiling and L-Box is up. No switches yet until painting is done. 26 days, fixed piping for aircons. 27 days, stainless steel piping is up and running all except washing basin in kitchen. 29 days, did some small rectifications to small dripping of pipes. CityGas came to lay pipes for use of government gas. Meet Carpenter for final designs of kictchen cabinet and master bedroom cupboards and dressing table. Henry came also to list what needs to be rectified before false ceiling and L-Box goes up. Things to be fixed included fridge and washing machines base. Next week, would start those small rectifications and setting up for false ceiling and L-Box. After which would be painting of whole house. all these estimates 10 working days, as announced by Henry.

Hi gals_mama. Reno cost at the moment is about $35k.. excluding rewiring, light fixing etc. Of coz price mentioned is excluding things like lights, tapes, sink etc.

Floor tiles and funy round corners gone. Kitchen tiles and storeroom gone too.. Ha..

My house after 2 days of hacking.. Door Frames from my 3 rooms is gone. Workers suppose to hack only the door frame of toilet but hacked more then needed

smart phone? Ha.. Hmm.. he go often mayb coz near his office bah.. Ha...

Our Plan We're planning for a black and white theme for kitchen and toilets. Kitchen would be open concept. (Less cooking = less cleanup) Ha... And basically over time, the things to get hacked became more and more from initial planned.. Ha.. So this is a short list of what i be doing... Replace main door and gate. Replace all doors. Replace all windows grills. Replace kitchen and 2 bedroom's windows. Replace Floor tiles of Living/Dining and all the rooms with homo tiles. Replace all tiles for 2 toilets and whole kitchen. Replace all lights. Replace aircon piping and aircon units. Relocate Storeroom. Rebuilt kitchen cabinet to U Shape. Build low wall to hide washing machine. L-box for living room and false ceiling for dining area and passageway. Built Wardrobe/dressing table in Master bed room. Add Fan for Living room. Rewiring for whole house. Well.. that should be about it. Ha.. Over time, we realised that the only thing we decide not to change is all the windows facing the corridor. Now once a while still wondering should we hack it.. Ha..
