Good news.. my window frame + grill had just been changed to new ones (Yest).. Spend 1 nite to clean up the whole place coz was dusty from the "rectification". What's new?? 1) Window frame had been adjusted to "tilt" outwards a bit (rather then in "of coz"). 2) Window grill is still mounted to the frame.. And had not puncture at the track area (mounted below the track area).. The guys had said is not suppose to be puntured or else wld leak water, e.g previous guy high likely had a mistake and use rivet instead coz accidently drilled through. And yes.. clearly he knows it would leak if punctured.. and window frame suppose to "let water out outwards".. same as the guy who came to take measurement. Other things that would be rectified/touched up (BEFORE payment) ,since tilder is coming anyway, is the "hollow" step at entrance, cracked paints at door frames, window frame(replaced) area paint touch up, filling in missing grouting ****/dining area and both toilet. Most important is the "hollow" homogenous tile **** room and he'll let me know how to solve it. Initially he said bo bian, cannot do anything.. i told him to find a way coz i dun wan "hollowness" in the living room. Most is cut out tile (wic is highly unlikely), then i need to ask my friends to come and help me move furniture into the rooms.. Had initially asked Henry to come and oversee the replacement (as in the email).. guess what.. he came in just after it was finished.. end up, i was the 1 supervising.. of coz he may have been bz with work.. but... Henry would come fix on thur evening time. so til then.. btw, i had accept a very very small sum (compared to the whole sum of reno of coz) for the 2nd and 3rd cracked tile. What i agreed to overlook, i will overlook.. Hope all be rectified by Thur..

Your mentioning of whole day cleanings makes me think of the time i clean my pl.. clean few times stil no clean... tink i cleaned for 2 or 3 weekends consecutively.. Ha.. Haa. so when is the "Jian Cai"? Got gragon dance? or doggy dance?

Tot HDB rule is cannot remove any fixture items? My previous owner also started to remove some things. i was angry at 1st and feedback to the agent. Just passed the message to them to let us know beforehand so if we dun need it, they can take it.. Ha.. same idea as u, going to change everythng so no need fuss abit it. Think is just the way they did it.. Got ask HDB officier? likely they would have their ppl to replace the lock since belongs to HDB mah.. can DIY 1 meh?

I went looking for eric but he's with another customer so Charles entertained us, think he wasn't deliverying and just happen to be there bah.. How you plan to wash so much curtains esp with double layer etc wic is thicker? coz we decid to have blinds so no nd to wash.. Ok.. definitely will watch out for your blog.. Ha..

The pic of of 2 spots of my 2 toilet which are very close to the wet area.. e.g kana alot of water. Can i ask if got hole = waterproofing going have problem soon coz keep kana water?? If i patch myself (wic skill is ok ok 1), would it be ok? or shld ask the guy to replace the tile to patch since he is pro? btw, the homogenous tile wic i mentioned got hollow.. seems like the length of the mentioned tile is hollow leh.. Can i get it changed? if dun wan hacking, got any solution? e.g fill in cement throught the gap? Thanks in advance..

Yup yup... wanted to get a black one but charles said would be hard to maintain "fingerprint free" so got the white 1. Ha.. And just before leaving, happen to spot the nice white book cabinet wic we're looking for so got it to be delivered together. The shoe cabinet comes in loose pieces. Charles assembled at the void deck then bring it up to adjust the doors (to my floor levelling). Quality was 1 of the best.. no scratches, marks etc.. i asked him to to adjust the door again another day and he came on the same day. Btw, it came with soft closing.. Ha.. even my kitchen cabinet etc no have.. And also quality/built, i felt was alot better then the tv console/kopi table from cellini.. The cabinet was delayed coz the supplier can't get the shipment in time so was delayed for 2/3 weeks. This time, the supplier delievered and Charles came on same day to assemble.. Overall, i rated respond and service very good.. Likely be trying to get my dining table from them also.. Mr Chew's a very nice and humble person.. glad to have him make our blinds. Got his friend to supply and install the privacy screen on the kitchen windows. Ha.. I was surprised when he gave the cushions.. Wonder if he gives it to every1? How much you're spending on the blinds/curtains? Rem to take pics leh. wanna see the curtains he made...

Your fridge next to the wall? The right side door can only open 90 deg minus abit coz of handle.. better take a look if can pull drawers out if need to cleaning or something..

Master bedroom's blackout roller blinds. My assigned common toilet.. notice no bang of head when brushing teeth.. and also my toilet bowl wic double as my "table".

My roller blinds for the whole hse done up by Mr Chew for $1k. Got 2 free nice pillow from him when he came to fix the blinds. Guest room 1 All corridor windows using this pattern.
