Nice drawings... Personal views huh.. Alot ppl leave the chute in the open now.. and opt for those flat stainless steel covers.. The cabinet above the chute.. lower to cover the windows as well (to be uniform and dun waste the space)??

HIyo.. nice to see your blog.. btw.. i can hear your wallet screaming "STOP!" also from my workpl.. Ahahaha.. The toddler room.. must ensure security is good... coz is corridor.. a guy pushing to install additional lock on the my windows.. showed me how easily the grill can be opened in 5 secs time, without breaking anything...

Jaskel.. i'm sure the hse owners appreciate you doing DIY for them but careful dun injure yourself in the process.. They wld be very sad loh.. And alot ppl stil need to depend on your brains, hands and body.. and of coz legs.. and car.. AHhaha.. btw, suggest to up your insurance for your body.. Good idea?? Is the LED easy to change if burn out in future? e.g easy to access the panel to de-solder for replacement?

Tiler came zhun zhun at 11am. Changed the 2 tiles.. and instead of 1 hr as mentioned by Henry.. it took 2 hrs.. but ok lah.. time well spent... The whole toilet was super dusty after changing.. Mr tiler helped me hose down the toilet after change.. and took another 2 hrs of my own cleaning to clean up.. Master bedroom was abit dusty also. Clean generally and nite time whole place was mopped by wifey.. Next few weekends stil need to do some cleaning coz of the flying dust... Piping guy came.. He mentioned shldn't be a problem.. so decide to leave it as it is..

Nice leh... Ha.. can always re-start your talent for arts again.. can do rug, table cloth etc for your hse leh.. Hmm.. layout is the same leh.. if layout same, 5 room and 4 room is only the size different loh.. coz yours for the balcony, me no have loh.. mayb living room and certain places is bigger then 4 rooms... Just that me hack the storeroom and put it next to the toilet in kitchen area. Mayb he paiseh coz of the tiles mah.. quiet quiet better.. Ha.. SHhh....

Ha... wanna try take a pic standing side by side? mayb look alike in some ways??
-
Sliding Glass betwn the kitchen and DIning area? Just the position of the main door is different or else lay out is exactly the same.. The wall next to the fridge is the toilet? no storeroom? Same as mine, like the fact that it's windy. But dust also comes with the wind loh.. Ha.. Can't see any of the defects leh.. Since you move in oledi, enjoy your hse then.. Nice clean look.. Just inform your friends etc on the contractor so other ppl can choose properly..
-
Nice leh.. isit painting or artwork? Planning to decorate your hse with your works?
-
Nice sia.. open open like mine.. Ha.. show more pics of your hse leh..
-
Use "Insert Image".. "insert link" is like for your signature.. any word u choose can be made clickable.. All done moving in?
-
Borrowed a pic from forum.. isit any better to do it this way?
-
Isit ok to leave it as it is now? The top part which is attached to the sink can be replaced.. but if the piping crack near the tiles.. then have to hack to replace the pipe?
-
Yah... bad.. but valuable lessons loh.. next time be more careful when dealing w contractors.. btw, careful w your aircon pipings.. dun hv joints if that part passes through the wall... for easy access if need to fix leakage etc..
-
Oh.. u kana also?
-
Normallly at void deck and your floor level, the contractor wld put a copy of the hacking permit next to the lift... wonder how can ppl miss that.. Hmm.. or they dun read at all.. Ha... if the letter is successful, it mayb a trend in the future liao.. HA..
-
Do what can be done loh.. but more impt, got obligations to your family mah.. cannot be everything abt work.. i'm sure the hse owners wld understand..
-
Did they remove the fat trunking etc and cement the pipes into the wall?? if so, going have to hack if next time piping for problem leh.. esp it is a joint area..
-
Pic of the pipe... Notice how the "tilt" of the pipe against the fatty pipe. Would the joint part leak over long period of use? coz of the stress put onto it?? No way the hole in the floor or the position of the sink can be changed so only way is to have crooked pipes? wic is very very not nice...

Jaskel, your electronics, HP and PC, are trying to tell u something.. They cannot keep up with your hardworkingness, need rest in between..
-
Hmm.. in future when doing reno, need send letters to all household directly "connected" to your hse.. state when u reno so they can plan their time table in advance, esp those working night shift.. mayb next tm would be a must liao..
-
btw, the piping for the common toilet sink was "forced to tilt abit" so can connect to the bottom of the sink... would it cause leaks over time? e.g at the joints part? Worry that the joints parts would give way coz have cracks or the joints part crack open.. mayb need go tak a pic to illustrate..
-
Ok.. Thanks for the ups.. would keep a look out after they finish.. Was worrying for the toilet door frame also coz it's plastic.. hope they can cut sui sui and dun damage any other things.. big or small...
-
At the moment, dun know when the tiles would be replaced yet... Hmm.. so no problem in replacing?
-
Anyone knows what to look or watch out for in replacing wall tiles? Coz 1 of the cracked tile, behind is those hollow "bricks".. possible cases of spreading the cracks to other tiles?
