Ok.. Just now went down and got pissed off again.. after whole day today, nothing much had been rectified. After a call to Henry for about 20 mins, another painter had been assigned. Now is all over again, 2morow Henry would go over w the painter and brief all over again.. Thanks to Henry though..

Yah.. i told Henry last weekdays and spend my sun to mark all the defects liao.. but what i worry is how long the recification can last.. scali i move in haf a year.. start to crack liao.. bt i tink the painter he mixed alot of water in the paint... the paint i choose is ex 1 and suppose to be able to fill in hairline cracks.. but dun look like it leh... Henry just called. Said the painting is done.. later i'll go take a look.. but no bring torch light and no ladder to climb liao.. Ha.. btw, he said the crack was caused by the guy who installed the window grill.. he drilled in the wall to put support.. but anyway..

I got my tiles from Taugres at Balestier. Next door is Hafary. Henry recommended so we only went to this shop to look at the tiles. My Master toilet should have chosen shiny white tiles and the "UFO" style Henry recommended don't really looks nice. At least is our toilet.. my friends also said my common toilet looks better.. HA.. yah.. patches on the wall from paints.. Hmm. hard to describe.. is like lines made by the paint accumulating on a imaginery line.. Some parts, can't be seem properly so is best to use torchlight so no nd climb up and down..

Ha.. no lah.. i not as artistic as Simon and Wifey.. i saw the 3D tiles when i went visit my friend last tm and my gf likes it also. Was the nicest white tiles at the shop Henry brought us anyway.. Ha.. and we choosed black tiles with rough surface for kitchen coz dun know how to match the white tiles.. so from there.. end up choosing all black and white tiles to be matching.. and decid to choose the rest black and white also to match.. Hahah.. we don't really know color matching so easy loh.. Hahaha.. just follow the tiles.. Dun know leh.. i no see the painter nor talk to him.. When i see Henry, would ask him if the same painter as Simon... For the painting, suggest u go over and see after 1 day of painting.. so u can decid if is good enuf. Bring a torchlight to shine on the wall away from you. The poor painting would show up immed.. I made the mistake to visit after they finish painting.. sigh...

Yah loh. sigh... suay.. forgot to tell Henry not to assign the painter over.. I spend the whole of sun to mark out those nd to rectify.. stupid guy... those at corners and window ledge tink no one sees, anyhow paint.. some parts no paint some more.. Esp now my master bedrm almost flood also.. got leak from the windows and touching my nice white dressing table oledi.. **** pissed off liao.. since sat leak oledi..

Got it.. Ha.. so we got the same sofa with same color.. wanted to find a oval or round kopi table but was busy rectifying things at the house so didn't really have time to go search.. end up we bought the black kopi table which had the smallest width, 50 cm.. coz not much space between sofa and tv console loh.. Tink Henry got call from me a few times a week.. Ha.. tink i got the bad painter which you had in the 1st round.. sigh...

Nope.. I left it black coz trying to stay black and white theme.. HA..got grey feature wall and white ceiling.. too bad the wall color looks pink.. or else wld be range of white to black.. HA.. got cellini club also? HA..

We wanted to choose the black laminates for the cupboards but Henry dun recommend it so next best choice is white.. HA.. btw.. there's a new series of furniture set at celiini (sofa, side table, bedframe, tv console and kopi table) using the white laminate i'm using. HA... so tempting to get whole set.. but more ex so didnt' go for it..

My 4 purchase from cellini.. Queen sized bed upgraded to supreme spinal support, Black sofa + black small kopi table, white TV console and Black Kopi table..

My Living, Dining and Kitchen Area w my lights. And New aluminium window grills. And new front door. Gate would be installed last. Uncle said today bring all the pieces for cabinate and cupboard up 1st.. 2morow 1 short can do and finish.. Yoohoo!

Today 4 groups of people worked at my house. 1st time seeing so many people working all at the same time. Ha.. Aircon guys, electrical guys, 1 guy putting up windows frame and guys putting up doors.. Some pics to share... My new Invertor sys 3 fan coil.. Master bedroom's new door, light and painting, Hmmm.. didn't really choose the right color for the walls.. looks pink (Orchid White) and the feature wall not dark enuf to have a contrast.

My Reno cost Rewiring about $2.5k loh.. lights about $800.. Pics have to wait liao leh.. HA.. likely by next weekend see the completed pics..

Ha... still ok.. need to rectify some things on the go.. Mon started painting, wed wash floor, tiles etc. Thurs aftern start fixing electrical stuffs like switches and lights. Hope the lights get delivered by 12 to 2 so the electrician can fix it up by then.. Trying get the cooker hob/hood be delivered by same time same day.. hope so loh.. Ha.. Trying to arrange aircon guys to come fix the fancoils and compressor preferly on sat morn. or else be thurs aftern loh. Henry mentioned cupboards and cabinates would be on fri and sat.. next week can choose solid top loh.. Living room ceiling fan be would be up by sat aftern.. Somewhere along the line, my new window grills, doors and gate would be up also..

My Common toilet with my misaligned mirror to sink, though need to stand in front of sink then can see is misaligned. Ha.. And a funny connection at the base of the showerhead coz reusing the previous hole "unknowingly" to give water to master bedroom toilet. And just for info. Guys doing tiling needs to know which hole to retain or make new ones beforehand, ort else would assume cut holes in tiles for existing holes in the wall huh. (Though can be avoided if hv detail drawing to see, also) Master bedroom toilet. With the misaligned mirror not yet fixed. And wrong glass shelf (perm no solution). 1 of the most important advice: Remember to tape up the aircon drainage pipe in your toilet after the aircon guys installed it and before other guys cut holes to fix toiletries etc.. Ooorrrr else... you would get lots of dust in the pipes loh.. hard to clean properly loh.. Hmm.. ok.. may not be engineering detail drawings.. Ha. perspective drawings?

Ha.. forgot to take pics of the L-box and false ceiling.. here's pics from last week.. x2 length of the original fridge base. Coz fridge was "designed" to face in direction of the cooker, the door would hit the wall when opened 90 deg only and cannot open fully to pull out the bottom tray. So solution is move fridge out the the new fridge base and pay to make a cupboard similiar to my kitchen cabinate to fill up the corner. (Though can be avoided if hv detail drawing to see) Extension of washing machine base also coz didn't add the water tap's depth into calculation. (Though can be avoided if hv detail drawing to see)

HI england, Problem can be fixed only if the tiles can be changed coz the size of the holes are different. Anyway, leave it lah.. i can leave it with it but it is stil a mistake of the guys who did the pipings. Change also makes the tilers more troublesome and waste $$ and time hacking tiles. Henry's a nice person but he's too busy. That's why i keep going down a few days to check everything so as to save time and effort.. for mysef mainly.. Hahah.. Anything wrong i call or msg him so can be reactified early. But the toiletries bo bian loh.. Coz i told the piping guy myself mah.. Regards, Roland

Just went over to have a look.. L-box and false ceiling is up... Looks nice, hid all the wires on the ceilings of Living/Dining area.. Ha.. Next should be hacking away the main door and put up the wooden frame + temporary door. Hmm.. if i rem correctly, henry mentioned that the window grills would be up before painting. Which likely be next week. Lights, cooker hob/hood is set to deliver on 15 April. By then painting should be finshed and dry up loh..

Although i have seperated the toiletries by placing them in the master bedroom and **** room, the guys who fixed the piping still manage to set up wrongly. Why? Only reason is... On the 1st day, they fixed everything with pipes only.. e.g toilet bowl, sinks, tapes, heater. After which they consolidated everything together into a single pile. Good effort to clean the place.. And then, next day is "what u see 1st, fix it up". Sigh!!!.. Mirrors can be changed coz using the same type of hooks. But the glass shelves and toilet paper holder.... Advice to all: 1) Label every single items clearly. Draw, label and use any other method you can think of. 2) Go down and see every few days, irregardless is trusty contractor or world renowned ID. These would save alot of your time to rectify things and argument on who's at fault. And most importantly save time and $$$$$.. If in doubt, ASK and Question! Not 100% Sure, ASK and Question!
