Coming Monday afternoon, window frame + Grill going to be replaced.. Hope everything goes sui sui...

Mine is those can latch on the gate 1.. got a few brands wic can do that.. me bought from Chinatown mrt there.. the hawker next to OG there.. 2nd floor.. got a few shops there.. can go see see.. The ONE must be promising.. Ha.. Should have a theme or concept for your hse then easier to choose.. me choose on the go one.. so no theme.. coz no idea from the start mah.. Me also watch anime.. but stopped while during reno.. HA.. going built a HTPC soon so can cont.. Ha... Hmm.. if L-box etc no apply sealant, what would happen? Peeling? Mine is the normal white paint.. All the ceiling is the same white paint loh. would start peeling over long period of time? If in future, i choose Moldguard to repaint my toilet ceiling, just paint on?

Is sealant an additional to the cost for painting? OR normally included into the cost for painting whole hse etc during reno? Moldguard is a type of paint with mold control? Or is a coating?

i only ask him to help change the tile wic i dropped the lock.. the rest didn't ask him to do liao.. live w it loh.. true loh.. good for me and him.. Ha.. normally i would try to catch things i drop with my foot.. but lock drop too fast coz heavy and instinct tell me not to loh.. Heng.. HA.. If i do that, would be MC for few days liao loh.. Today guy from the windows installer company came and measured the frame+grill.. already told him abt mounting to the wall and the un-levelled frame base. He said would tell the guys to be careful.. among things like putting protections for my compressor (hope so).. and putting silicon (part where the covers the protection from the aircon guys) back since going hack the cement abit also.. He also said that it the base needs to be levelled so that water dun accumulate at centre.. Hmm.. Called Henry and he would arrange with the window guys when to come and install and let me know.. And stupid me.. today just bought a Duro lock.. and was trying to put on the gate when i accidently droped part of it. Heng it missed my foot by inches but cracked the tile at the steps.. so called Henry if he can replace it since i stil have the tile.. he said he would arrange.. phew!.... If fast.. can settle everything within 2 weeks bah.. Oh.. my tv console is stil not here.. sigh.. delayed shipment and cannot find the guy who suppose to arrange for 2 days oledi... pls pls pls.. my tv console back come pls.

Ha.. not much work then u can start detail plannning like where to start cleaning, what to bring in 1st etc mah.. Ha.. How's your hse inspection? all good? HA.. what u waiting for huh? 2nd appt? got your quotations for your reno yet?

Is obvious under light.. But Aiyah.. windows/grill is more important now.. Ha.. Aiyoh.. u doubt Jaskel.. he wld be very sad 1 leh.. Ha.. glossy is nice.. but tend to have fingerprints also leh.. Yah loh.. wld try to use grouting to make it less obvious.. or mayb place something there.. Ha.. so no 1 finds out..

Thanks for the advice.. MBR window and grill are finally going to be replaced though. For the rest.. no matter how easy it can be done, Henry would have an excuse for it.. So now end up he dun need to do anything loh.. bo bian.. I'll try my hand at DIY for the grouting 1st.. Any idea what to use to "polish" the glossy surface of the cabinet doors to make it less obvious? The handle stil became loose after a while even after tighening.. so see how loh..

Good News!.. Henry called me abt 30 mins ago to arrange for replacement of window frame and grill! He mentioned about HDB calling the windows installer company to make good the window.. but wic ever the case.. i'm glad the episode is closing.. All Thanks to everyone who had helped out in 1 way or another!.. For my part, once replaced sui sui... I will pay him the remaining payment and 4get abt all other problems including the cracked tile, no question asked.. Only hope the place dun get too dirty and nothing is damaged in the replacement... esp the aircon compressor wic is so close to the window. Hope i can strike Toto also...

Hmm.. ok.. will just DIY when it sounds noisy.. HA.. may end up taking out the water saving mechanism if too trouble some..
