  1. i think its either 700mm or 750mm. can rem exactly. but most impt is ur viewing height. IE ur sofa height. if ur sofa is high, cannot be mounted very low right?

  3. ya. mirror at the top of the feature wall. but the ceiling is not straight. so from close up, the mirror look crooked. the hassle of hdb houses. but the effect turned out quite well. thanks to my ID for the suggestion
  4. the glass is already in. the carpenter extended the laminate to cover up the glass also. so u dun see the glass from the side.

  11. Height is from top of skirting to bottom of false ceiling. I would guess around 7ft. Nobody complained about my 16 lvls so i guess it fitted in the lift. bundle price for that entire wall of mirrors including a plaster false wall to hide a sliding glass door for kitchen is 2k+ including the sliding door
  12. could it be silicone? my house's flooring also have quite a few black stains. turns out its residual silicone from carpentry works. had to scrape it off using a penknife. do it lightly tho, u dun wanna scratch the tiles
  13. reno wise, i heard frm parents its OK to start reno before 7th mth and have the work thru the 7th mth. just try to avoid starting on the 7th mth. since some pple choose dates to start reno, there are not many good dates in the 7th mth.
  14. some shopping centres are using solid top. and since solid top can be moulded into shapes other than rectangular/square. should be quite easy. not sure about the costing. still the same as normal PFR?

  17. what i did, i went to HN, then call up kong tai or goh ah bee or lee meng. get the quote. HN managed to match the price for me. and i just had to top up for extended warranty.
  18. something about the gray ceiling. it makes the cove lighting less bright. even with full row or T5 daylight tubes, the room still looks dark. I guess the gray doesn't reflect light as well as white. BUT, it does provide perfect lighting for movie watching.
