so far most flats >30 years get en-bloc very quickly. i doubt the government will be willing to spend the $ to maintain old flats. might as well en-bloc them. build new ones. and earn more $ out of them

Yeah. lesson to learn from today. When visiting IDs for quotes, do not bring any cash/cheque/credit card. Coz I only brought $50 with me today. Even if i did want to sign up, there is no way i can pay.. :D

Just came back from my appointment with *** (Previously Unique). 1st impression of the ID, found her to be quite sloppy. In drawing out what i told her I wanted, she only make vague sketches on the plan without giving me much design ideas. After a while, she said she knew what I wanted, and proceeded to tell me about their current "promotion" which turns out to be the regular resale packages available in most companies. Then she became quite pushy almost refusing to let me leave despite me saying I have to go back to discuss with my wife. Saying things like promotion of $1000 rebate is only extended to 1st 10 customers (she claims that 8 pple have signed up). Took me like 30 mins to break free from her clutches to escape to my car.

During cases where you feel your agent did not perform his duties well enough or provide ample enough service or advice. You can actually NOT give the commission. But evidence will be needed to prove your claim

our water meter needs a minimum flow rate of water to start counting. when the water is dripping at a slow rate, the flow isn't enough to work the meters. that is why this method works. but i doubt reducing the cistern flow to minimum works..

Wifey's gonna be real happy about that.. Fortunately, we are only moving in AFTER our renovation. Coz from now till the reno, no shopping allowed to free up more budget.. :P

This is our floorplan. We intend to do a full overhaul of the unit despite it coming with Granite flooring in living and parquet flooring in bedrooms as we don't really like granite and parquet. :bangwall:

A few IDs I've been to include; - Chew Interior - Innerview (IMM) - ** - * interior (Tradehub 21) - 2form (Tradehub 21) So far, we feel that Sky and *** looks most promising although their prices are on the high side. if you did sign the commission slip, they can lodge a small claims tribunal against you to recover the commission

The sms records can be used as evidence if the agent actually smsed u acknowledging your intentions and agree to your terms.. you can then have a case in which you don't have to pay him his commission.

she probably trying to get more profit. since if u pay it to the company the company will take a cut of the commission. and since its paid to the company. the company charge u GST. if u pay her directly, u don't have to pay GST. but either way, never pay directly to the agent as the company will not have a record of the transaction, and should you need to complain or sue for any reason, the company will not be held responsible.

you should first contact the agent and buyer informing that the cheque bounce and ask them to follow up. make sure u keep records of the correspondence. Email and sms works best in this case. word of mouth is very hard to verify in case of contest. After doing that and the buyer/agent did not do anything, contact HDB to cancel the deal with the records of correspondences. This is to cover yourself in case the buyer suddenly decides to sue for damages due to cancellation of sale. In any case, without the option fee, the OTP should not be considered valid
