  1. i sent in an e-request to them last mth. some guy called me 1 week later. ask me when i collect keys. i told him may. till now no news from them already.. imo. very stuck up
  2. depending on the house layout. it might not be feasible
  3. basically any illegal modifications to the house have to be rectified. other things like cracks or broken tiles, if its there when u sign the otp, they dun have to rectify. general rule is, as long as the crack is at a visible location (ie. not covered) they dun have to mention it during viewing.
  4. i think the ID have to submit a request to hdb for approval.
  5. for wheeled chairs. can consider going ikea to get those floor protector mats. quite useful.
  6. i'm not really sure. but i think its something about bigger tiles being harder to place for leveling since its flat over larger surface. can some expert pls advise?
  7. my undermount S/S sink has silicon sealant with my granite top. no leakage so far. no sealant then leaking is definitely a problem
  8. if the cabinet is intended to come into constant contact with water, then laminate is definitely a nono.
  9. buyer reserve the right to claim for future leakage. this clause very ambiguous leh. what happen if it start leaking 10 years from now?
  10. which model did u get? and whats the damage?
  11. If your SS and granite top are of different colour, it may be harder to find a neutral colour in between for your cabinets. but i'm not a designer.. so i may be wrong. otherwise, i dun see any problem with having both. If your washing area cabinet is just for storage purposes (I'm assuming service yard area) u can even consider laminate top which is very much cheaper
  12. depending on the ID u go to. some IDs quoted me same price for granite and LG solid top. unless u go for other brands of solid top, makes more sense to go granite if its the same price as LG
  13. imo, its better to take max term (ie: 30 years) and if you have spare cash/cpf, do a partial repayment to reduce the installment amount or term. At least there is more flexibility
  14. if all parties are agreeable. just need to go to HDB branch office to do a transfer of ownership. As long as your parent's CPF have sufficient amount to take repay the amount used by your grandma and uncle.
  15. go to hdb website and check currently transacted prices to get a rough guide of the pricing around the area
  16. the F10 does not come with the handlebar thus u need a traditional handle on top of the digital lock. thus its 2 stuff sticking out of your door. the F100 comes integrated with the handle.
  17. maybe u can place in ur ad. Buyers only or already co-broked to reduce the number of agents calling u. or maybe.. owner not giving commission.
  18. from what i was told my multiple IDs. using 30x60 in the kitchen/bathroom increases the chance of having uneven flooring due to the larger size of the tiles. thus creating water pockets. better to use 30x30 for kitchen/bathroom flooring. cheaper too
  19. no prob. remember the change the filter every few mths when it turns brownish
  20. hdb doesnt allow hacking of walls to conceal switches or trunkings. either u mount it on the wall. or build a false wall to conceal the wiring
  21. middle of last year cov quite low.. only in july did the cov really started shooting up..
  22. usually the ID or contractor can submit the request for you. its subject to approval, provided the change does not affect the structural integrity of the building.
  23. i recently viewed a showflat by and ID in which the owner requested to shift the toilet bowl. they did it and built a box to cover up the piping. as a result, u get to use a wall mounted bowl in HDB. very nice effect. altho its very illegal by hdb standards. i dunno about the flushing problem tho
  24. 13amp plug is the normal 3 pin plug we are using for our electrical appliances. The apartment having 60amp is the total value and not indicative of the plug. Singapore only has 2 types of sockets 13amp and 15amp (used for aircon with 3 round pins). If the hob requires a 13amp plug, then u can just plug it into any 3 pin plug in the kitchen for the hob to function.
  25. my house haven collect keys leh.. although i intend to have cove lights and ceiling fan
