  2. if its not too many points. u could just get a switch to connect everything together
  3. samsung has very very hot panels. makes the room feels warmer. sharp. colour abit unnatural. dun really like it. this is from personal experience using this 2 brands at my in law's place. currently using philips panel in my bedroom. happy with it. thus got another 2 philips for my new place
  4. in the end, i opted not to have patch panels. just got my electrician to run the cat 6 cables to a cabinet and fix my switch there to connect all of them up. since i only have 8 points. not really that messy
  5. previously in my parent's place, the film sort of shrinked and there is this sticky stuff at the exposed glass panel area. basically, we removed the rest of the film with a hairdryer and that helps in removing the film with minimal sticky residue. then we clean off the existing residue with goo gone. how to use the hairdryer? heat up a corner, then start peeling. the heat is to sort of soften/melt the glue on the film. and gradually move the hairdryer and slowly work to peel off the entire film.
  6. imo, you should stick to ur ID's suggestion. since the hanging lamp over the dining area may not be always on. and the distance being so big, the area around the dining table might be dark when the hanging lamp is off you can prob install the 2 lamps near the dining area to a diff switch so that u have the option of off them
  7. htng: actually they just need 1 point per house. then u can use wifi or watever to distribute thruout the house. lingsummer: u have to ask ur ID to prepare a conduit with a drawrope to facilitate the opennet installers to pull the cable thru. thats what i did
  8. ya. but just running for fun nia la.. takes about 6+ hours to complete. :(
  9. usually after the flooring is done, there will be some extra tiles left over
  10. ur inbox full leh. tried to pm u cant get thru
  11. the film been removed? u can try using goo gone. its available in homefix
  12. u just need to do a calculation for the BTU of the compressor vs total BTU of the 4 blowers and u will understand why u cannot on all 4 units at once. the compressor BTU is simply not enough to support all 4 blowers. some salesman told me invertor unit uses 60% btu after its cool. so did some math problem looking workings. since 1x 18k btu and 3x 9k btu. total = 45k btu. 60% of that is 27k btu. if the compressor is 28k btu. looks sufficient. but dunno how true this is tho
  13. blu ray is a new format of discs. better quality than dvds. comes in full HD format

  17. i think wallpaper gives a softer cosier feel as compared to painted walls. even with solid coloured wallpapers, the feel in the room is slightly different
  18. makes sense. but apparently, she did attend the course. no idea whether the carpenter is with her tho
