If you have the time, do self coordination. get contacts for hacking, tiling, painting, carpentry. then u coordinate and plan yourself when and who comes up to do what etc. needs to provide your own design and spend alot of time planning and very hands on since u have to liase between various personnel yourself else, u can get ID/contractor. contractors usually come cheaper. some IDs are actually contractors in disguise. technically, these pple are supposed to provide you with design ideas and gives advice on what is more practical and what is not needed etc. IDs usually cost more than contractors since they are supposed to provide 3Ds for you to get a feel of what your place is gonna look like after the reno. I used an ID for my renovation since we preferred to have someone provide us with design ideas. altho in the end, we gave our own input over the ideas provided by our ID making it more or less a personal design.

if its me. i will have the 6 over the dining area in 1 switch. and the living area i will split into 2 switches in a crossed manner. meaning. top/bottom then left/right

my place already has an additional TV point that was routed directly into the house from the cable box outside. had to drill a hole above the main door to get the cable thru. i continued using that point and will be using that point for my cable modem so i think should be no problem. but i relocated 2 points in my common rooms. the class rating of insulation actually refers to the fire retardation. class 0 insulation is actually more resistant to fire as compared to class 1. no difference in insulation properties. at least that is what i was told

imo, for a house, most impt is harmony and health. for career, it should only be considered within your study/working area or your office. a house is for u to come back after a day of work to rest and spend time with family. if your house is setup for career advancement. i think u will be unable to relax when u are at home also.

it depends on the unit. older units who have not going thru the MUP are not allowed to have 2 compressors. newer units or units that have gone thru the MUP can do that. my place is using a system 3 for bedrooms and a single split for living room.

Embedding of wiring (house in metal/high impact PVC conduit) in RC slab, beam, column, wall and in wall plaster or other finishes is not allowed. this sentence say embedding wiring in wall plaster cannot ma. since our false ceilings are mainly plaster boards. does that mean embedding wiring within the false celing also not allowed?

personally, i installed lan cable thruout is not for opennet. i prefer the fixed and stable connection via a wired network. and connecting without going thru encryption ensure better connection and transfer speeds. i chose cat6 over 5e is i prefer the network to be future proof since i may be living with this renovation and wiring for the next 10-20 years. a wireless router may be sufficient for network distribution for opennet. but there are still advantages wired network have over wireless.

if u have the intention of disregarding age old beliefs and do reno during this period. then there is nothing that is needed to observe. just pretend that it is any other period. anyway, the belief is only for STARTING of renovation during the 7th mth. if u start on the last day of 6th mth and the works carry thru the 7th mth, its perfectly fine
