heard sealy mattress have alot of "feedback" if the partner rolls around alot thus not suitable for light sleepers.. anyone using sealy can comment?

Got a call from Intradesign yesterday, got my quote ready. Made an appt with them next thur to go thru the quote while i asked her to email me the quote for reference. Initial quote seems quite decent. Still within budget. but some items are missing. She said she will get a perspective drawing reading for me to view next week. So far so good

Spoke with Orangecube and is awaiting reply. Sent my floorplan and requirements to intradesign and haven heard from them since. Gave Idealdesignstudio my floorplans and requirements and also awaiting reply from them Met up with Idzign yesterday, supposed to get back to me with the quote next week. IDs nowadays have the tendency to aeroplane clients.. Or maybe as zhiz said, I scare IDs off..

Hi, I recently spoke to Idzign with regards to my renovation and is currently awaiting their quote. Anyone here has any experience with them? I did a search but can't seem to find any thread on them so i started one. Thanks in advance

most IDs/contractors doesnt charge anything for haulage.

you should have around 5-6mths to shop for an ID. by then, i should have firmed up mine (hopefully) then u can drop by my place to take a look at the works progression. my place not that far from yours. im at 662

COV is 1st appt.

imo, the choice between inverter and non inverter is not so much about $ savings but about my personal carbon footprint in general. if the price difference is not overly ridiculous, i will go for the energy saving option

looking for IDs is by itself a time consuming and slow process. im not really looking so much at the quotes but more at the IDs i deal with. of course the prices must not be exorbitant.

i read somewhere that having a pendant light above the bed will cause problems at the area which the light is pressing on. Dunno if its just a feeling. but my pendant light is pressing on my leg area. and my legs keep giving me problems.. then again.. im constantly running training for marathons and that might be the cause of my problems...

the floor tiles need to be hacked off. the walls around the frame will be damaged and need to be refurbished. and from what i heard. not many pple can do it very well...

Hi, I've engaged a FS master Long Tian Xiang to calculate the auspicious dates for my wedding and is intending to have him look at my house's FS. But from what I've read on other forums, he used a different method of calculation of birthdate which resulted in some pple feeling that he is a hoax. (He said our animal sign is based on our day of birth and not year of birth) Anyone here used his services before? Can comment?

im currently overseas at the moment so my ID hunting is currently on hold. will resume once i get back. 2form did contact me saying theres a showflat available. but im overseas so i cant make it. will be meeting them on friday to see my updated quotation

i just got a reply from jason for my email for quotation after about 1 mth. pricing wise, maybe mus meet up with him to discuss in more detail to tell him what i really want. coz from what i see, the pricing a little bit off.

initially when i was ID shopping. for the 1st few IDs i spoke to, i told them i have no idea how i wanted to layout my flat. told them we have 2 occupants.. needs lots of storage. divider to block off view of living room frm main door, need a specialise service yard area in the kitchen. and let them do the design. but because of the layout of my flat, turns out, almost all IDs came up with similar layouts.. only varying my slight differences.. so now, since i already have the idea of what i want, to compare quotes, i just go to every ID and repeat my story. takes me about 20 mins to tell them my requirements and takes them about 1 week to come up with the quotes.. saves alot of time for me. go to more established IDs to fish for ideas. those smaller scale ones might be semi contractors thus might not have much design ideas.

my reno is still some time away. so maybe they might have gotten their license by then. fingers crossed. anyway.. they are definitely in my shortlist. not the cheapest in the market. but not the most expensive.. reasonable i would say

i dunno about their workmanship, this must see the showflats or the houses of members who were done up by them. penguin can give some comments? what im worried about is their lack of HDB license.
