if you are to use a 13A MCB for each 3 pin plug u have, there circuit box will be very very big. usually the sockets are all grouped into zones. eg. bedroom/kitchen and they use a 20A MCB for the groups. During short circuits, the current will be very very high, way over the 20A of the MCB. thats why it will still trip. and protects the entire network from damage. Some electricians just use 2.5mm for the whole house without regards for the equipment or MCB rating. imo, its very dangerous in the long run. I've returned most of my electrical knowledge to my poly lecturer will try to help where ever i can

wiring diameter is based on the amperage of the MCB. if your MCB is 20A, your wiring shld be able to support more. if you are unsure, please get the CP5 book and see the specifications there, there is a standard increment to use, its been so long so i can't really remember whether its 10% or 20%. the thicker wiring is because, the MCB will not trip until your current exceeds 20A, thus, your wiring if its only rated for 13A, will be taking excessive stress from 13A to 20A before the MCB trips the supply. if the system is drawing 15A, the MCB will not trip and your wiring will be constantly under stress. Suggestion is, if you are not a licensed electrician, get someone to do the job. Its very very dangerous if the wiring is not done properly

wolflet replied to ene1010.tan's topic in Plumbing & Electrical Works
we don really like warm white. So we used daylight for cove and cool white for downs. This is so the downs won't turn out too glaring -

Water Proofing Membrance (wpm)
wolflet replied to mersing's topic in RENOVATION IDEAS: Interior Design Themes, Space Planning
usually if you are not changing the flooring for kitchen/bathroom, no need to redo the WPM. if you are changing. you have to reapply the WPM -
my in law's place using alpha, my parent's place using joven. personally i prefer the joven as it comes with 2 indicator lights (power and heating) so its a good indication as to whether the water is sufficiently heated. so far, both have not give us problems (joven 6 years, alpha 2 years)

i am also intending to wire up my place for whole house LAN. more stability in the long run as wireless internet tend to have blind spots. of course, you can always get a wireless router to supplement in case u have laptops that needs to be moved around -

imo, 3d is just for u to see what the place will look like after they completed the reno. if u did not do anything with them in the area, then there is no need for them to provide u with the 3d right? for my tv console, i was charged 120pfr and full height feature wall is priced at 180pfr full height shoe cabinet is 220pfr which is the same price as urs -

i got my design out before my fengshui audit. This is done after i called master long and he told me to go ahead with the planning. When he came to audit. I asked my id along and they sort things out among themselves. But almost everything that was planned does not affect my house's fengshui

Last day of hacking is over, went up to see the place at 6+ and the entire place is completely demolished. Common Bath MBR Bedroom 2 Bedroom 3 Master Bath Tomorrow they will be bringing in the goods and also clearing the debris. Apparently they missed out the cornices in the bedrooms, reminded my ID to get them to remove it tomorrow.
