  1. unfortunately true...so have to take every purchases with a pinch of salt from now on.. sleepless nites beckons... btw, did they mentioned where was the sofa manufactured? how long was the warranty for it? mine is wear and tear for 1 year..feel kinda silly taking it but i really really liked that sofa. after 7 months of sofa hunting, i still like that best due to its form and functionality...
  2. Hi Coffee, I bought a similar sofa to yours today..Saw it too at Mr Decor IMM somewhere in April. But got mine from Ack & Smith at IFC for $2.6k.. Now im worried coz just read up some c***py reviews rgdg them on misrepresentation on their Simmons mattresses, which i bought at the same time.. Now i feel like robert for getting the mattress on impulse. Had planned to get the Backcare series but ended up with the Platinum which like got no info on their website. Sianz... Warned myself of Mr Decor but landed in another potential deep hole via Ack & Smith... My carrot head on chopping board ler... other then that, looking forward to my slide out sofa too! Yeah!
  3. i too find it a waste of time talking to them..not pro and disrespectful.. did it just to please my wife since she thot they could do a good job... Was served by this elderly chap with glasses at the east branch.. Had a look ard the outlet so he decide to tail me and wife..maybe scared we take pics of their interior..? Answer qns in a few words only..yawning all the time..then at last pop the question to us.. whats ur budget?? Told him we looking at 30k reno for 4room..he reply, "can only do basic...30k too little..." "Kitchen..toilets..maybe hall only" Sure anot?? Or is it their pricing too expensive?? 30k very easy to dig up meh?? kaoz... and i havent even mention what i wanted to do... The moment i frowned after his last sentence, he turned and walked away to his quiet corner..... Me and wife bid good riddance to them from our selection list.....
  4. Sweeeeet! U used for quite some time? The glossy white fridge easy to upkeep? I thot of doing a galley-like kitchen hence thinking of having an all-white kitchen so as to enlarge and brighten the soon-to-be-cramped space available...
  5. yeah...that was what attracted me to Samsung RT72KASE too, aside from the 4 ticks it garnered... If you looking to have dispenser feature as well, Hitachi R-M700GMS does have that too. In fact, it can also dispense ice cubes, crushed ice or icy water just by selecting the respective button. Its water tank holds 4 litres and removable for cleaning as well just like the RT72KASE. I cant recall if the Samsung RT72KASE needs to be connected to a tap since it has a removable water tank and no ice dispenser, but most ice dispenser fridges requires additional plumbing which i find troublesome...in case we need to shift the fridge around the kitchen when the mood strikes.. Both have classy, sleek looks suited for modern kitchens and priced at value for money for their respective features.. There was this lady sales promoter at HN Suntec who recommended me Hitachi fridges as i was pondering the Samsung one, mentioning something about the lining in the internal doors is easier to clean and not accumulate algae or mould, i think..(sorry, forgot what term she used)...
  6. Hi Solelabel...what type of advice did you hear that made you change your mind to the 3-door Hitachi? And which one you getting? Me narrowed down to two fridges.... Samsung RT72KASE ($1399) and Hitachi R-M700GMS ($3399)... Difference of 2k sia....
