cool...then i think mine shd be ok bah... thats what i thot too abt light filtering into the kitchen... oh, gotta have tall cabinets coz getting some oven...dun like ovens on lower cabinets, not practical. probably might not have tall cabinet nearer to the windows then...but concerned if we cook, oil and stuff might splash abit onto the washer at the end of the bottom cabinet...

3ft walkway not cramped for u and wife? i intend to do galley kitchen but with some tall cabinets so worried if it will look cramped and clustered.. yours seems alrite coz one side no top cabinet and no tall cabinets, so flow of space is there... haha...will do bargain on this next time ard...

hi J&G, i enjoy reading ur blog...cool stuffs u got for your house how's the ariston oven doing? im contemplating between ariston OS99 IX Openspace and Brandt FP867XS1. prefer the ariston coz of its bigger capacity but a bit put off by feedbacks here and at sgbrides regarding ariston's dwindling quality and after sales service... kitchenaid mixer you got from mayer or isetan? im thinking of getting a coffee machine too..probably refrain from getting a built in one. might get a nespresso as well...capuccino comes out good? lately saw this brand martello...smallish machine looks good on a coffee bar...hehe.. not sure of its quality though.. hope u dun mind me asking many questions... yoz...just got the extension form yesterday evening.. decided to liaise with the sellers direct since i had to do 2nd inspection myself.. my agent said its a private agreement so cant let hdb know coz initially thot of telling hdb to extend the 6 weeks to 10weeks after for 2nd appt to accomodate their extension.. no point go 2nd appt if cant get keys also right...haha anyways, the uncle and auntie are nice accomodating folks with a clean well-upkept house.. no issues with them just that i find their agents rather incompetent... just hope the sellers ensure the bills are fully paid in the extra month they stay there.. given a choice between Ariston OS 99 DPIX Openspace Pyro Oven and Brandt FP867XS1 Oven, what would you knowledgeable experts choose? Both seems on par on everything except the OS 99 has capacity of 70 litres whilst the FP867 has about 54 litres. Pricing are also similar. Functions also similar. Any thoughts? YNWA, El Nino

hey, we share the same idealogy on 'bargaining'... so long within my means and i feel other items offsets it, no big deal lah...plus they wun pull long face if you keep squeezing them dry...and more motivated to do a better job...although not all are these type of contractors/ID who are just out to chop chop chop... yeah, i've decided to go with one im most comfy and assured with...coz communications and trust are vital to me...
