k lah...u raised some relevant points to abt the aircon within the false ceiling and trunking spoiling the aesthetics...wonder when will somone come up with infrared tech for aircon from compressor to fancoil?? Not really sure if its the same across all brands...but i did my research on the few brands i was interested in...and whilst doing so found out that the actual BTU emitted is lesser than stated in retail.. think they round up bah to make it look good tho its like cheating lor for 20k BTU they retailed it as 24k... anyways, i got myself a single split inverter from Panasonic CSS18JKZ for $1399 (after upgrade insulation and bracket abt $1.6k) after trade in from Natural Cool... GC and Hong Tar quoted me almost 2k for the 24k BTU...so since BTU diff seemed minimal to me, i saved $400 and went for Natural Cool..also managed to get rid of the old dodgy aircons without having to pay for removal! so, yay! woit!!! my cat is mentioned here...he not very happy that u dun wna welcome him over... *hiss*hiss*spat*spat* @ Angteko... Lol.. on the contrary u shd welcome him more leh...he is a good kacua and lizard hunter ok...

RENO WEEK ONE - Search And Rescue Mission in War Torn Yishun Over the weekend was deployed on a SAR mission...me and my squad was hoping it was a quick one with minimal gunfight required... This is what we encountered.....: Amidst the shrapnel strewn rubble and debris, we discovered this.....: the poor fella...he must have been obliterated from his jeans during the 'bombing'. May he rest in peace. The air didnt smell good. Survivors in the neighbourhood said it was ongoing for 3 days. It was h.e.l.l over there. Lucky most of them were at work when the chaos happened. The air was growing pungent no doubt and we feared the worst. Soon, our sensitive noses led us to this.....: . . . . . There was no dead body (thankfully) just someone's dead skin rotting on the stale socks serving as a momento in the ravaged unit..... It was a sign to leave the place immediately! Lol...

Yo...u didnt ask ur ID to cut a hole in the ceiling for the aircon? see whether feasible anot? Like weird leh if aircon directly in front of ur dining lights......some more crystal lights...will turn to icicles anot if too cold? 18k btu was also what was recommended by most aircon ppl after i showed them my floorplan.. i wanted to max it to 24k but after comparing specs in depth i.e 18k gives out 17k btu whilst 24k gives out 20k btu...like very negligible lor so took the 18k btu... *mental note to self* remind forummers to bring pesticide if anyone visiting angteko's unit...

I skipped FM10 coz my pc was dodgy..always crashed on FM09 (bloated capacitator on the motherboard)...i know the graphics in most game are very demanding...will get a system (with DX10 graphics since DX11 cards are pricy and still new with few contents to utilise it) that can support Modern Warfare 2 or Crysis (my benchmark) at its finest so running FM shd be a piece of cake! dun worry la bro...we wun leave u out! orh...need to create some server or network to play as a group la...same like lan gaming..im not very sure how this works but i know i wanna play it! haha...gotta read up more to learn tho... 3D match ur pc setup must be able to support else will lag like siao...alternatively just stick with 2D lor...

My nyatoh or veneer main door complete with lockset, handle, peep hole etc was quoted at $450 and wrought iron main gate quoted at $420. Ur quote can definitely be lesser and ideally insist on them absorbing the GST. Cant comment on mild steel gate pricing tho. my cat sez 'eeoww' to u samgalz...translated means 'thank you!' its too big a space to keep hamsters laaa...this 'condo' just nice for my cat although i feel cat shelves would enlarge the space further. maybe i put the actual cat tree/condo in my study room instead... neither have i! hence coupled with the spacious mbr toilet and store with windows i decided to grab this unit although i dun really like the location. nah, he can share the tub with me or my wife during our chill out sessions...the only cat i know who will sit still as i bathe him! better give him swimming lessons then...haha!
