Seem agents will advertise and address themselves as buyer agent when you engage them. Some seller agent will double act as a buyer agent. When they learned that you are wo agent they will get their colleague to pose a seller agent and suddenly they become buyer agent, your agent. Get a agent you trust, whom will get you a good price. Some agents just want to close the deal and ask you to offer to meet the seller's asking price. My agent is not bad, at least he bothered to knock on neighbour's door to check for potential loan shark unit and also check the owner's financial status, bankrupty, etc.

I called up the seller agent to arrange for a viewing and she assigned a colleague to service me instead. The colleague of her acts as a buyer or seller agent?

if you can wait, look out for those expo sales from Gaincity, HN, etc. Went to Gaincity expo sales last weekend, they have this hourly sales for TV which is really cheap.

saw a furniture shop along Tai Thong Crescent selling these rattan furniture, looked at their catalogue, looks really nice and unique, esp if you have a big balcony or garden. don ask me the name of the shop cos there is no display of shop name. it's located same building as the bak chor mee stall i frequent.

hmmm.... maybe you can consider display item as well, cheaper than new, maybe more exp than 2nd hand but in better condition.

how about the design wise?? visited some furniture shops in JB, design cannot make it.
